taking my 1st Clomid pill ever!ADVICE please

Hi all....well I am starting Clomid (50mgs) cycle #1..(cd2-6)..
When should I take it?..Af came at 3am..when is CD1?
anything you girls think I should know..oh yeah and I will take all the babydust you can give

CD1 is always the first day of your period.

If af showed up at 3am this morning then today is cd 1. I always took mine at night.

I just finished my first rx of clomid yesterday..I was on 50mg and I took it cd5-9..I just wanted to let you know (because I was worried when I first started them)there were no s/e..yet..But I'm staying positive..The only thing is my bbt might not be accurate,because clomid can mess up your temps..But good luck to you!!!!kim..

Hi- I'm new here and newly diagnosed- this month was my second cycle of Clomid- (100mg, days 5-9) today is CD22. My first round was 50mg. Good Luck to you all!

Hey,
I'm new to Clomid too. I finished mine last month, and while I was taking them, I didn't have any side effects, but now....OMG!!! I have nausea all the time, I feel like crying constantly, and I got two really bad headaches, with the vision blurriness thing...ahh, how lovely and nice for me...

i am on my 3rd round clomid...
round #1 - 50mgs cd3-7 .. gor preg, but ended in loss
round #2 - 50mgs cd3-7 ... no O
round #3 - 100mg cd3-7 ... a work in progress
i had no side effect while taking it, but in the days after i would get waves of nausea?? really weird....

Hi all, I'm just waiting for AF to begin my 2nd round of clomid. I will be taking 100mgs. Last month I took 50mgs and no O. My progesterone level was only a .84 and my RE wants it to be a 12 or higher. Should I be worried? Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks, Jess

Just got done taking my first round of Clomid for 5 days. Waiting to go for an US on Thursday morning to see how it worked...looking for a follicle. Wish me luck!

Just wanted to say Good Luck to all! I did Clomid in 2003- first month 50, second month 100, third month 150 and never ovulated. Injectables with IUI followed that, pretty sure the first round was a very early loss- everything was going well and I got kicked in the stomach by SIL's 100 pound dog and started bleeding about 45 minutes- 1 hour later. Second cycle though, worked and I have twins, who will be two in June. Eventually it will all work out! Good luck!
