I Am Not Psychotic!!!!!!
We just got word, Mark and I both passed our psychological evaluations w/ flying colors! We also passed our background and fingerprinting and references! Our final homestudy is this coming Friday, April 14th, at 1:00 PM. By 3 PM, we will be officially known as "potential adoptive parents", licensed for adoption in the state of Minnesota!

We are hoping to have the rest of our homestudy paperwork turned in in a couple of weeks... it has been a whirlwind since we decided to go for this but it's so exciting.

Happily married for 19 years & mommy to 3 beautiful daughters
~13 year old (born preemie @ 24 weeks), 5.5 year old & 3.5 year old (both born in China!)~
It's very exciting. We went to get fingerprinted today and I sent the fingerprint cards to the FBI today. I also made the appointments with the doctor to get our physicals. So moving along pretty quickly, I think.

Do you have to have psych evals in your state? That took the longest for us. I booked the evals at the end of Jan, we had them in the beginning of March, and just got the results back last week!

Nope, no psych evals here -- there is a portion of the physical exam that deals with mental health, though so we do have to pass a screening of sorts, I guess.
