    Question Clomid side effects

This is my 3rd month on Clomid. I was just wondering what side effects you ladies have experienced with Clomid.
While taking the pill, I get headaches, white flashes in my vision, and ovarian pain. Then, about 4 dpo, I start getting "pg symptoms" like sore boobs, darker nipples, gas, fatigue, cramping, SPOTTING, and nausea. The first month of Clomid I thought for sure I was pg but kept getting -hpt's and got AF. This past month, round 2, I had the same things happen but I didn't get my hopes up which is a good thing because I got some -hpt's and got AF. What the heck is going on? Has anyone else experienced this? The thing that got to me the most was the spotting. The first month it started 5 days before AF. The second month it started 7 days before AF. I hate it! I know I am ovulating because I have had some good sized follies and + opk's the past 2 months which is more than I ever had before the Clomid. I can't wait to hear what you ladies have to say.

Wow, that makes a lot of sense now. I was convinced I was pg last month (first round of Clomid) until I kept getting BFN's and then yesterday I got AF. I had the really tender breasts, cramping, a little bit of spotting, general achiness, headaches. And this month my RE bumped me up to 100 mg!!

My symtoms during the Clomid weren't horrible - major moodiness, but that was about it. We'll have to see how this round goes.......

I am so glad I came across this website. I was starting to lose my mind about clomid and what was happening. I took my first cycle of clomid and I have had cramps for one week straight, the funny thing is I never get cramps. What is going on? Is my period coming or am I pregnant?

Kim, thanks!! I'm on day 4 of 100 mg Clomid. This time around I did have a few flashes of white light, but more than the moodiness (which surprisingly hasn't been too bad this month), I've been getting light-headed and have had headaches since Monday (day 1). I'm just glad that tomorrow's it!!

Kim, thanks!! Still waiting for my temp to go up. How's this round going for you?? I was so glad to finish on Friday. My head hurt so bad every day. I really hope I don't have to bump my dosage up any more than 100.

I have been feeling light-headed still, but I'm not sure if that's from the Clomid or something else.

    ****Babydust**** to you, too!!!

I have a question...I took Clomid for the first time last month, and it's been about 20 or so odd days since my last pill. I didn't have hardly any side effects....NOW, 20 days later, I'm so miserable, crying all the time, irriatable, did I mention crying and depressed.....
BFN on the pregnancy tests, no boob tenderness, and NO AF......that's the only medicine I'm on, the Clomid....doctor wants to "make sure" I'm not pregnant. I'm already late on AF, by 7 days....what more does he want? I have PCOS!!!

Well, I got my +OPK last night and my temp went up .7 this morning (still .1 under the coverline, but I think I might just not have high prog levels - I bought some NPC this morning to try).

Kim, sorry about DH going out of town around the time you would o. Hopefully this cycle will go by quickly so you can get back to the Clomid again.

Megz, have you had a blood test?? I had a similar problem last cycle (I had a 35 day cycle and called my RE on day 35 only to have blood work done on CD1.....). Are you temping?? Some times the Clomid doesn't work, so you don't o and your body doesn't know what to do. If you're not getting a blood test done (mine checked my prog level, not hCG), I would ask your dr. if you should get some done. HTH.
