Cysters in Brandon and surrounding

Hey there!

I'm looking to see how many cysters are on the boards from Brandon Manitoba.

A friend and I are in contact with a Dr. who specializes in Women's Hormone Health. She might possibly be holding an all day workshop here in Brandon for those interested. Her current workshops consist of:

• Learn How to Maintain Hormone Health throughout your life Naturally
• Prevent and Relieve Osteoporosis, PMS, Uncomfortable Menopause, Infertility, PCOS and more

There will be more included but that will probably be based on attendance.

If anyone is interested just drop me a line so we can give her an estimate on how many are willing to attend. Her last workshop was $20 each, or 2 for $35 and lunch was included.

I think I'm the only active Brandon cyster on here. There are two others that I know of but I haven't seen posts from either of them in a long time.

Have you attended one of her workshops before?

Havent attended her workshops, she is a good friend of a friend....
I ran into another woman the other day with PCOS here at the store, she comes in once in awhile and she is looking for a group to join as well.

Perhaps we could put up a sign-up form somewhere, or put something on the community access station telling people to call if they want to start a manitoba society for pcos.....just throwing things out at the top of my head.

Those are good ideas. I once thought of trying to get something going for PCOS awareness in Brandon but got to admit that I'm just too busy/lazy to take it on right now.

You could try creating a web site and then go from there? Provide valuable PCOS links and see what the members want in regards to grouping and associations.
