    Hiya . . .

I haven't started taking them yet, but my RE recommended them to me on my last visit two weeks ago. She said they will help control my insulin levels and also help with horrible sugar cravings I've been having.

    Hope this helps.

Anyone in Europe know anything about cinnamon pills. Any idea where to get them???
My dad lives in Florida so as a last resort I could get him to send me some. (Places in the U.S where available?)
These are a natural remedy right?

    Thanks a lot,

I'm no expert on this as I'm not even taking them yet..... I would say if you decide to try them, at least let your doctor know.

As far as places to find them in the US, the kind ladies here let me know they are available in the Wal-Mart pharmacy for around $6 a bottle. I would bet they are available in some health stores too, but the ones around me didn't carry them.

I just bought some at Wal-Mart in the vitamin section. I think they were $5.00 for a bottle of 100.

I take a herbal and mineral blend that contains vitamin c, chromium picolinate (chromium), vanadyl sulfate (vanadium), cinnamon, bay leaves, and cloves. It's supposed to help with glucose metabolism. I'm not considered IR yet, but my gtt was elevated and I don't want to become IR. I'm hopeful that the supplement will help prevent that.
