Libido

I have none. Driving me nuts coz I used to want to do it all the time before this PCOS nightmare started. LOL
Is there any natural remedies I can try?

I wish I knew because I deal with the same thing. I never want to do it, but my husband always does.

Sorry to say but at least I am nt alone I totally understand how you feel I sooooo wanted to have sex before this came along and now its like blah blah blah don't get me wrong sometimes I want to, but more often than not I am like get away...

Same here. Things improved when I went off the pill (before I knew I had PCOS). Before I was on the pill, I felt totally normal. While I was on the pill I felt no libido at all. I finally took myself off of it because the dr's kept dismissing my symptoms, and wouldn't ya know it, I felt better. It's been about 4 years since I was on the pill, and I'm still not back to normal.

Once I was diagnosed with PCOS, they put me on Met (back in Novemeber). Things are gradually getting better/easier but i think the other things like the weight I gained are still a big factor.

The worst part is, I went on the pill shortly before I got married (and hadn't "done it" till then) so as a newlywed, I had no libido. I guess after 5 years of marrige I would say we're at a typical sex level, but we missed out on the honeymoon phase, which really sucks.

Yeah, DF have been together for 5 years and in the begining for like the first 3.5 years I wanted it like crazy! but here lately, I hate it! I mean it's great and all, but I just can't bring myself to get in the mood! DF always gets upset and asks why he has to beg for it all the time...but I think that my weight gain has a lot to do with it. I have lost a lot of confidence and we used to have fun in the bedroom, now it's just like wham bam thank you ma'am b/c I don't want to be seen without clothes on. I don't know.

Isn't that weird about the pill???? That's exactly what happened to me... I had a normal (okay, what I considered normal, i.e. wanted sex at least a couple times a week) sex drive before I went on the pill, and then pretty much instantly when I went on the pill my sex drive vanished. But even now that I'm off the pill my drive hasn't come back, and it's been about 3-4 years. My husband thinks that's just an excuse, but I really think there's something to this!!!! I wish there was just some other "pill" we could take to zap ourselves back to normal!!

I am the complete opposite. I want it all the time, my poor hubby is 6 years older the me so hes just fine with once a week or a few times a month. I am always pawing him. Hes like I AM TIRED!!!!!!!!!!. Until resently we were both like that (he has a bad self image of himself, due to his psorasis break out). I tell him it doesn't matter to me, but I guess guys are just as insecure with there self image as females are.

OMG!!! I have lost mine also. everything u girls r saying, its like looking in a mirror. mine has gotten so bad that he will try and wake me up when im sleeping and then i really dont want to do it, so he gets mad and sleeps on the couch. i hateit. i use to always want it now its almost always never. uhhhhh. I wish there was something we could do.

same here. bcp did a huge number on my libido. i never wanted to get down and dirty! lol

i wish that women knew what horrendous side effects bcp can have BEFORE they start taking them. docs sure won't say it. i'm not on bcp anymore, nor will i ever be.

also, my libido got back to normal when i started eating to control my hormones. when i learned to balance my meals and to eat fresh, whole foods, almost every symptom of pcos stopped.

I was on Desogen, that's the pill that killed my drive. My family Dr at the time (my mom's dr, my grandmother's dr, my dr since birth) never saw any connection. I finally found a dr recently since I moved and when I told both her and the endo she sent me to what pill I was on they were like "OH my god... No Wonder!" It felt good to have a confirmation, but it made me pretty mad that I was on it almost 2 years and my other dr never did anything. I did go to a Gyn when I first moved as well, and she chalked it up to emotional issues. Yeah, I have emotional issues, I have a chemically induced libido lag!

I used to or maybe I still do have the same problem. I started met on friday and today I am up and ready lol. Not sure why. Havent been able to bring myself to have sex for over a month (POOR HUBBY), but today is like I am new to it an I want to wear it out. The pill did the same thing to me and I think that it had something to do with the PCOS but I am not sure. I dont know if anyone who is on met has seen a increase in libido or not but I would sure like to know if it is going to be like this or if I am going to go back.....I dont want to go back. I love my hubby and I think we need to make up for lost time. Worst part is hubby had surgery on monday on his shoulder and is on meds and now it is him and not me.

Met has cause me not to have a orgasm grrrrrrrrr the only way i can acheive one now is clitorial (sp?) makes me so mad

I have zero libido which makes TTC just lovely. I tend to blame being married for 10 years but I suspect it's more of a PCOS issue.

I used to not want it at all. My dh would always get upset, i just got to doing it about one time a week just to keep the peace. Now I seem to want it everyday. I have been on met for almost 2 months, so I think that is what got it going again. Hopefully my body is straighting out.

I too had no sex drive while on bcps-when i went off them it took a couple months but it's back-WuwWho! I KNOW it was those darned BCPs....yeah part of it was probably the horrible weight gain but you know what i told my old ob/gyn???
