Need help focusing
I just can't seem to focus on things, I am 23 years old and I say that I want to have a baby with my husband but I just can't seem to rememeber to do the things that I am supposed to be doing, like taking my medication or dieting (260 lbs) I don't think I have yet to actually complete a basal chart that wasn't missing about 6-8 day's on it......I don't even know were it is. The metformin I have been taking makes me sick (headaches and bathroom issues) but I'm only on 1000mg most of the other women in here are on 1500+
On the 25th It's been a year since my tubal pregnancy, and nothing and I know it's my own falt If I did the stuff I am supposed to do maybe I would be preg.
I need a studdy buddy someone willing to get me off my ass and get to work
any one interested

Count me in! I'm sure you'll find great buddies on SC.
I'm good at taking my meds but that's about it. I need to lose about 60lbs and I wanted to start BBT, but I'm on CD57 so I have to wait for AF to show up. The metformin gives me major bathroom issues too! I run to the bathroom at least 4 times a day. (TMI, sorry)

Yes, what Jenny says, this forgetfulness isn't your fault. Don't dwell on it accept that you will have blank days just promise yourself you will concentrate whenever you have the power to do so.
Build in routines, take tablets alongside something you do everyday, like brushing your teeth. Or get a watch with several different alarms that you can set. I find splitting up my medication helps, so I have a set at home and set in my bag and a set at my boyfriend's house just incase I remember when I am out.
I make sure I have an idea of what I could eat everyday for a week and make sure I have everything in the house at hand. I have good food for quick fixes and food for meals. I then set aside time to batch cook to ensure I have something decent in the freezer for when it all goes pear shaped!
I have a food flask too so I can take good out food with me if I am going out for the day. The food flask really gets you out of difficult situations where you might be forced to eat crap.
Hope these tips help.

[quote=jennyinfargo] My charts have those lovely "I forgot" spaces all over and some days I even forget to eat and only remember when I start feeling sick. quote]
Wow... Glad I'm not the only one - I thought I was just scattered. I haven't even started my charts... I keep meaning to.....
And the forgetting to eat; Your the only other person besides me that this happens to. Last Thursday at midnight I had figured out that all I had to eat all day was a piece of toast and a cup of coffee.

bought it
I went out and bought myself a timex expedition. It has 3 timmers on it
2 to remember to take my metformin and one to remember to do my charts
so far it has worked for me all day we will see about the chart tomorrow
I really recomend this for other people who need to remember to take meds,do charts and exersise......if it doesn't work for doing the charts I think I will use it to remember to do at least 30 min exersise......well at least 15
