    Default Hair/no hair/or both

After reading someone's post a while ago I got thinking. I was wondering whether if you have excess hair on your body you don't lose your hair on your head. Or vice versa. Or both. A poll to find out!

I have both unfortunately, however i dont have a lot of excess hair, just hair that is too dark on my arms, on my thighs and a bit on my belly. My hair on my head is really thin, but is growing in again slowly.

I voted for both, but my excess hair problem is very very light, and has improved to the point it doesn't bother me at all now. Yet, my hair loss on my head is very very serious.

I have a couple of really thick chin hairs that I pluck... and all over body fuzz... especially dark around my belly... I loathe it... The hair on my head is however thick and curly with no sign of thinning... so i guess small mercys right?

    Hi ladies!
I currently only have to deal with excess hair on my face, some long dark hairs around my belly button and a few strays on my breasts. My excess facial hair is the worst though.

I must admit that I am paranoid about developing hair loss and feel relief every time I get my hair done and she tells me how thick my hair is.

I hope it never becomes a problem and I am sorry for those of you that have to deal with it.

We all just have to remember that whether we have to deal with excess hair, hair loss or both that we are all still beautiful people inside and out and we have nothing at all to be ashamed of.

Thanks for all the posts guys.

I voted for the excess hair one when I started this poll. I have it on my chin area mostly and it's been getting worse since I came off the pill. Pity I could stay on it, but I was getting migraines (seems my body doesn't like high estrogen levels) and I needed to get my "true" hormone levels tested, plus we hope to start trying for a baby next year. So for a while it's something I will have to put up with I guess. I plan to get laser soon.

Even though I am not losing my hair, it has become thinner as I have got older. But my hairdresser tells me it's just the way it's meant to be so I am not worried about it too much at the moment. I really started worrying when I started growing it longer cos it seemed like I was losing so much more. But I guess it seems that way cos its longer and there's more to see on the hair brush!

    Keep posting and voting everyone!

Do you take spironolactone? If so do you ever wonder if that could be causing hair loss on your head? I never had a problem until recently(3yrs later) with hair loss.

No, I don't take spiro. I'm not on any meds at the moment. I am just taking saw palmetto and cutting down on carbs. I think it's just the way my hair is meant to be.
