    Default Plus sized clothing

    Hi

I was wondering where people bought there clothes from?
I normally use Evans, M&S and sometimes Oxendales / Simply Be.
Not too fond of Oxendales / Simply Be as you have to order the clothes and a lot of the time they are not what they are supposed to look like!

I thought there was a thread on this in here before but I cant find it! Sorry to start off another one!

Me either...maybe some H&M's are better than others. I've only been to two and both were useless for me unfortunately.

bon marche does up to size 24. not fashionable but good for basics and work clothes. and of course there's elvi.

john rocha at debenhams does up to a size 22. new look has the inspire range 16-24 and mk one has chapter 16-26.

I used to shop in Evans and Dorothy Perkins a lot. I have bought the very occasional smart item from Elvi though you have to watch out as it's mainly for older women. Ann Harvey - same... Matalan, Debenhams - Casual Club and their separates range. There is this shop near me called Size Up that has really nice stuff in it - very pretty skirts/cut offs/capris and lots of normal comfy basics. I also have bought odd bits in Peacocks, Bon Marche and New Look.

Whatever my size I have never gotten on with M&S clothes (only recently managed to find something that would fit me properly skirt, top and vest top) and I have never been able to find anything in H&M. A few people I know use TK Maxx but I have never found anything I liked in there; it reminds me of a jumble sale with stuff everywhere. This lack of ability to find things in those shops is with me spanning size ranges from my heaviest a size 22 down to a size 12/14. I have always had way out of proportion hips and a tiny waist so I guess they just don't cut their clothes to fit. I usually would be too tight on the hips and too massive on the waist.
