It's my birthday on friday

hurray - not!

I get really bummed out on my birthday because i am usually the one who makes everyone elses birthday special and then no-one does it for me.

I have organised a bbq for saturday - mainly because no-one would think of doing it for me - but its gonna piss it down - great!

i have to remind dh to get me a card the day before, instead of dropping in for one on the way home from work on the day.

As well as that i will be cleaning, cooking and organising my own party

I love and hate birthdays at the same time.

Husbands don't seem to realise that we want to feel special on our birthdays. My dh bought my card on the day one year with me standing next to him!

thanks guys, dh bought me a playstation eye toy and kinetics game, as well as a dance mat, they are great can't wait to try them out.

I know what you mean. I always make all the boys a cake and even make one for DH but (despite having been able to bake cakes for 26 years perfectly well)... he never makes me one. He buys me stuff but it always hurts that he doesn't get organised enough to make a cake unless I winge at him!

It's my birthday on Tuesday and I am working a night shift grrrrrr.... I hate the way men never remember anniversarys and the like... I don't really care about birthdays any more after too many hassles and failed ones... hehe. I just like a nice bit of cake - that's all, however my body doesn't like it much.
