    Default Bare Minerals Makeup

Hey Ladies! Just wondering if anyone has tried Bare Minerals makeup to help with acne. I have heard it is supposed to be great for your skin but it is expensive so I thought I would ask first.

I was actually considering ordering some after someone recommended it. It's supposed to be a lot kinder.

I wear Bare Minerals every and love it! I thought it was expensive, too, but it lasts so long, that I really think it's worth it. It covers every blemish and under eye circle. I wore it to a wedding and ended up doing the bride's makeup because she was so impressed. Now several of my friends have ordered it. The sampler kit is about $60 but has everything you need or they have started selling it at Sephora. Good luck!

I'm a Bare Minerals addict. It's the only thing I've worn for the past 3 years. I love it so much. I can't recommend it highly enough.
Price isn't really an issue for me but I don't think it's too badly priced for how long it lasts. I first tried it at Sephora and fell in love. I now have the entire foundation kit and a ton of eye shadows. They also have incredible mascara.

I just bought this kit: http://www.sephora.com/browse/produc...ategoryId=5737

I'm also addicted to Dr. Perricone products. I have expensive addictions!

Does it really cover acne and post-blemish marks? I am very OCD about concealing everything! Once I tried a mineral makeup of some kind (it wasn't BE) and it didn't cover completely. It could have been that I didn't have the right brushes though.
I've always wanted to try mineral makeup cuz I know it's better for me, but like I said, I am super type-A about coverage! Give me your honest input on this subject.

I think the coverage is great. I don't break out very often though. It really does have that airbrushing effect for me.
If you're not sure, you could go try it out at a Sephora if there's one near you. Or a Bare Escentuals store. There's a locator on www.bareescentuals.com.

Try Everyday Minerals (www.everydayminerals.com). I love this product. I have adult acne and I have no problems with this make-up covering everything wonderfully!!! Everyday Minerals is about half the price of Bare Minerals. You can get samples and just pay for the shipping. It is an awesome deal.

I love the makeup, but yeah it is pricey. Ebay is where I plan on buying my next bit. The sample size probably lasted me 6 months.

Ladies, I had the bare minerals and I loved it too but it is pricey. Loreal and nutrogena have now come out with there own mineral foundations. You can buy them at walgreens, walmart etc. I would try that if you haven't tried it befor and see if you like it. you may have a btter choice to pick the color that is right for you there. cvs had the nutrogen on sale 2 weeks ago bogo and walgreens had the loreal bogo last week. I even think physicians formula has mineral foundations too. hth!

can't believe I just saw this thread.
I bought the loose powder today, went into Sephora, that place is neat.
Does this make up keep the skin clear? I saw it mentioned here and someone else told me about it. I have yet to find a foundation that covers the bumps and evens out my skin tone. It's not that pricey, I don't think.
So glad to see this thread, I also bought the "big tease mascara", the one I use now clumps!
    Hope it works well.
