Provera? clodmid confused!

well good news is i had my meds changed lol off met and on clomid! but im being put on Provera first as i havent had a cycle in about a year! i have to take it 3x a day for 7 days is that sounding right?? and i been given one load of this and three month of clomid! is this sounding right?? im so confused and my dr wasnt my normal one! xx

Tinkerbell, I am happy you have gotten you new meds.

Now as far as provera goes, I have never heard of someone taking provera 3 times a day for 7 days straight. I would call your dr and double check that if you haven't started yet. Typicall they prescribe 10mg once daily for anywhere from 5 to 10 days. For me I take a 10mg pill once a day for 10days, and af starts a few days after last pill. Hth!

yeah thasts the thing! my tablet are 5mg each!! so that would make it 15 a day! but in three years i have had 5 periods ands now they have completly stopped for past 6 months! could it be today with that? so basically its 15mg a day for 7 days or what im so confused and it wasnt even my normal consultant x

How is the provera going? I hated taking them made me feel just awful.. are you getting monitored on clomid

wll im off the provera and i felt dizzy etc - last 2 days of provera spotting and cxramps now im off it nothing! which isdriving me crazy as if AF ever turned up i start clomid the next day!! lol cant take the waiting i hate it xx

Lsat time I took provera I didnt get AF for 18day after last tablet. the time before that was 7 days.. so just bear that in mind.

jsut dont lol i was told on the dose i was on it should be between 1-3 days after i finish! and as im sitting here there is somethin going on i can feel cramps and i only get cramps DURING AF so im hoping it will be tomorrow!! im just so desprate! lol xxx

I'm in the same boat! I'm on Day 6 of Provera (of what was supposed to be 7 days... but my dog tipped my pill case over and I lost one!) and hope to be getting AF in the next few days, because I too, am starting Clomid next cycle! I took provera back in May to induce in AF, and got it within 5 days of taking the last dose... hope thats the case this time! I'm seriously hoping the Clomid works in the first month (I know, its a small chance!) because I live in Arizona, and would be due in early July... if I wait much longer, I'd be heavily pregnant in 120 degree weather during late July and August... and that sounds horrible! But alas, if it happens that way, its Gods will, and I'll be thankful just to get my baby!

hey honey! just thought it say that 5days since finishing it af came this morning after very little spotting etc lol so was at bfs with nothing on me then half hour walk in totown and 2hr bus ride home lol but im happy af is here becase that mans 2 moz i start on my clomid 1st cycle and hoping and praying it give me the baby me and my grown up baby want lol xxxx keep me updated on ur situation hon! baby dust been blown ur way xx
