    Default Dermmatch

I just ordered some, I will let you guys know how it is....I've tried toppik and courve and didn't like either one of them. The toppik always made my hair feel dirty and when I scratched my head, it would come off under my finger nails. Apparently, this is different cause it's more like a powder. I'm pretty excited. I just got my hair cut short so between that and the dermmatch, I should be doing good!

Oh, and the toppik website says you can use it in the rain and while you sweat, but I didn't find that to be true...I mowed the lawn one day when I got home and my head was sweating...The toppik got thick and patchy.

Ok, got my package today! I couldn't have been more excited

When you order for the first time, you get 2 different colors for the price of one. I got light brown and dark brown. You can blend them if you need to make it lighter or darker. I've read on other message boards that you can use it without wetting the applicator but the first time, I followed the directions...It was very easy to apply! I like this alot better than toppik because you can control it better. With toppik, I felt like I didn't have enough control over where the product went. Because you apply dermmatch with a sponge, you can zero in on where you need it.

I think it looks great! It's amazing how much better you can feel about yourself when your hair looks good. I don't have any bald spots but the thinning is diffuse through my part. This worked perfectly to shade my scalp to make the thinning less noticable. It also coats your hair and makes it thicker.

Test number one was mowing the lawn. They claim that you can sweat and swim and it won't come off. So far, true! I mowed my whole lawn and was sweating my a$$ off. I expected to come inside and see my hair and scalp a mess. To my surprise, I was sweaty but the dermmatch was in tact!

Over all, a great product for me! Thumbs up

ETA : Test number two was going out in sunlight and public in general Looks great in sunlight, I can't really tell it's there! I found that as I was walking around Walmart, I wasn't even thinking about my hair...Now that's great for me...Usually, I always have my hair in the back of my head, wondering if it looks bad.

I am going to see if I can hook up my webcam and see if I can post before and after pictures...

I would like to see pics. I would consider getting something like this and trying it. I would be a bit scared though... and I scratch my scalp a lot because my head itches so badly... wonder if that would be a no-no.
