Thread: I am cracking myself up, in the grocery store

Default I am cracking myself up, in the grocery store

Walking past some of my "temptations", which a few weeks ago I might have stared at longingly in an effort at diet discipline, or tossed into my cart, I kept thinking:

    THIS STUFF COULD KILL ME!

Hopefully, that sensible attitude toward the more junky offerings will stick with me...

Actually, it wasn't so much an intentional thought...it was more like, I'd be walking through the produce aisle, happy happy broccoli, ah, there's some oranges, I'll get those, la la la shoppy shoppy me AAACK! FOOD MONSTERS! They're trying to KILL ME!

Of course, yesterday I had my highest reading ever, after...cole slaw and chicken & stars soup. And this morning, I woke up with "fat hands", which I hadn't seen in a few days. Here, I was thinking that was a pretty decent meal...but I guess, for me, it is not.

    Live 'n learn.

HA! FAT hands? I assume you were swollen? i get this a lot... though it has subsided for a couple weeks... the worse part was my feet getting so swollen that I could not wear my shoes... I like the idea of warding off the bad foods in the store... lol my weakness is pasta... i am half italian so ya know its like in my blood that i must eat pasta... but now i cant... O WOE IS ME... so maybe sayig that to myself in the store, albeit dramatic, will help... I need to get my stuff together...

    Default Fat Hands

Yes, my hands puff up. And I guess my feet, too, because I have noticed that my shoes are a little loose, lately.

And I am half Italian, too...funny, all those years of my mom serving me pasta "because it is cheap" is going to cost me a lot more in health care costs, now...
