    WELCOME CYSTER!!!!

What did your dr say. You did say she diagnosed you with PCOS? What was she checking, your cysts? I am surprised that she hasn't put you on any meds, you should ask her about that. My dr. says that if it goes untreated, some symptoms just get worse. You should definately make a list of question, do some research and talk to the wonderful women here. Go back into her office and ask for some answers. You deserve the best care! According to my dr I've probably had PCOS since puberty, except I wasn't dx or treated until I was 30!!! Trust me, the symptoms do get worse, or for me they did.

If you ever need to talk, I'm here for ya. It can be tough sorting through all the information and dealing with it all. If you ever need to talk, you can PM me any time and I'm on yahoo messenger.

    Love to all my cysters!!

What blood tests did she run? You should be checked for thyroid problems, cushings disease, diabetes, liver enzyme levels, cholesterol levels and insulin resistance. Many docs overlook PCOS, especially the lighter cases. You don't have to have cysts to have PCOS. Just because all your tests came back normal doesn't mean you don't have PCOS.
