    Default provera/clomid/metformin help

yes yes.. we went in to see if my 145 pound weight loss has helped- in the aid of TTC. we adopted our son 3 years (almost to the day) ago. and we went in last month to see if we could try once again. well my estrogen and testerone were worse than before... but i had gotten 2 periods on my own (the first in my whole life) since losing the weight... i had gastric bypass july 2005... so he put me on provera- a 10 day 1 pill a day- i started it on tuesday-well i got my AF tonight.... am I suppose to keep taking the provera??
i'm on 1500 of metformin for the last 2 weeks too.. he will have me do 100 of clomid ( 2 pills a day for 7 DAYS).... i'm just haven't seen anyone do provera for 10 days and i haven't seen clomid for 7 days on this board.... is this weird?? i have to wait until monday to call and ask when i start taking the clomid- i was instructed to call on the first day of bleed- to get information and set up appointment for ultrasound (OH FUN..) now i'm worried- that it started so quick... just worried...

Jennifer- I don't take Provera but I take Prometrium which is very similar, both bring on af. I always start af when I am still taking the pills and I stop once I do so you should stop taking the Provera. As far as the clomid goes I am taking clomid 7 days this cycle too. It's something my doctor wanted to try so I hope it works. Congrats on your weight loss and getting af on your own!! I wish you the best of luck and lots of babydust!
