Default Acne on my inner thighs, all my life, plus what's good for oily skin?

Does anyone else have really bad acne on their inner thighs? I've had it all my life, seriously, from like age 6 and continue. I get pimples, white heads, black heads and even HUGE blood/pus filled cysts. Just wondering if it's my own problem and if I'm a freak, if not what you'd recommend to put on my legs... sometimes walking hurts when my thighs rub together if I got a big one down there. Popping them helps and since no one sees them anyway I don't care if I scar.

Also I have always had pretty oily skin, but lately it's getting sensitive too. All of a sudden after using the same makeup I always use, my skin started burning horribly and I didn't wear any for a while. I used a Benedryl anti itch cream and it helped and I found some sensitive makeups to use. I still make a lot of oil, especially around my eyes, BUT my forehead is dry and has flecks of dead skin sometimes from the dryness! What in the world should I use??
I've also had huge pores on my face all of my life, what can reduce them?

ahh..now that another person has it.
I used to get the same...inner thighs, armpit, almost like boils or the size of one, all the time. I say it has to do something with pcos....
I lost 150lbs, and I have to say..being my pcos got alot better, I don't have them anymore. Its funny b/c I still check, and since I lost the weight...I don't have them

Yeah the big ones get like boils. I have always been large and have had them as long as I remember. Now I guess I'll have hope that they go away! I guess it might really just be skin irritation from the legs rubbing together and the pant fabric seeping into the skin and causing infections.

I used to think it was acne on my inner thighs but I've been reading up on Hidradenitis Suppurativa, and think I might have that. I don't have a website handy but you should google it. It sounds like you might suffer from it.

Mine doesn't have any foul odors either, its just acne and some get to be the size of boils. Most are white heads and blackheads though. The big ones happen at my panty line and back bottom part of my butt.

come to think of it, mine doesn't have any smell either. Maybe I'm being paranoid and trying to self diagnose? lol, I do that sometimes.....

I have the same problem...I was on here to night to see if anyone else did, because I'd really like to do something about it. I've had them on my thighs and under arms the worst for as long as I can remember...but I sometimes get them at my bra or waist line. There is also some skin darkening along with it sometimes. Has anyone discussed this problem with a Dr? To be more exact a dermatologist? I'm trying to lose weight...see if that will help, but it's really slow going...and I'm not a eligable for Gastric bipass.

Edited to says...I looked up Hidradenitis Suppurativa and this sounds like exactly what I have. What I read says the odor does not always occure, only when the condition causes a bactirial infection. I think I might talk to my DR about the possibility of this being what I have.

I've not mentioned it to any doctor really. I'm sure my gyno notices it. I would probably need to go to a dermatolgoist, but I am sick of doctors!

I used to get them on my under arms a lot but not really anymore, occassionally though. They're all on my shoulders and back, though not as bad as my thighs. The skin is also pretty dark on my thighs where the acne is the worst.

I'm starting to get painful ones around my waist line now too.

Yikes, just started getting this. It's really painful and I don't know what to make of it. What a pain in the butt (literally)!

I have this acne as well (inner thigh, bra line under breasts, etc), another gloriously embarrassing issue with PCOS. My gyno prescribes doxycycline for treatment. It was explained to me that I have "pus pockets" where the acne develops. Mmmm, such a pleasant thought... Apparently there is some surgery to remove these pockets, etc., but weight loss definitely helps reduce the acne from occurring as often. When I get a horrible boil, I put a tea bag in a cup of water, microwave for about a minute. I squeeze the excess water out and place the bag over the boil to help reduce swelling.

So the tea bag method helps? I usually just try to drain them by popping them

Here's a thread I started about just this. I never knew it was PCOS related until about 2 years ago.

I have these too but after looking at the HS thing, mine aren't that huge.

I do have them around the stomach waistline and inner thighs.

I ususally just pop them, but I ment to say something to my doctor about them the other day.
