I don't know about yellow, but black or a dark very dark brown could mean dried blood. Red, of course, is fresh blood. My son has crohn's disease and that is what the ped. gastro told me to watch for. If you are worried, I would speak with a doctor about it. They can get a stool sample and test it to see if there is any blood in it. I have to do that from time to time on my son. I hope this helps.

I've had a lot of diarreha that's yellow with some black since I started working out. I am wondering and hoping it's just pure fat going out of my body. How else does it come out? Fat does have a yellowish color to it after all! So here's hoping...

Your stool color normally results in what you eat. I would add more greens to your diet for a good cleansing.

If you eat or drink anything with much red dye in it, your stool can appear bright red. I know from experience that pretty much all the red colored flavors of SoBe will cause this.

Also, B vitamins are water soluble and can change the color of your urine. I've never noticed a change in stool after taking them but I suppose it's possible that B vitamins could cause a yellowing of the stool.

I know that white stool can be a sign of colon cancer. I'm not trying to freak you out, but maybe yellow stool is related to that, since it's also a lighter color?

I learned that after a CAT scan. I drank a lot of white barium solution, and for the next couple days all my poop was white. It was freaky!

Do B-vitamins make your urine a more saturated yellow color? I just started taking them again a few weeks ago, and I've noticed that my pee is really bright yellow. I kept thinking that it meant I was dehydrated, and I've been drinking a lot more to try and fix that problem. I hope it's just the B-vitamins, so I can quit drinking so much!

light brown to tan: drinking milk
    green: increased concentration of bile
red: food dyes, fresh blood from lower GI tract
    blue: certain drugs
dark brown to black: digested blood from upper GI tract, stomach bleeding
    brown: normal bile pigment
grey-white to clay: digested bone, bilary obstruction, colon issues

If you think your stool is weird, take a sample and bring it to the doctor. Don't freak out about it

B vitamins are water-soluable, what doesn't get used in the body is excreted by the urine. So the urine turns neon yellow. Try not taking your B complex for a day, your urine should be a normal color again. Not a problem, your body is just doing what it's supposed to do
No matter what happens, someone will find a way to take it way too seriously

Definitely! If it's bright yellow like lemony yellow, then it's most likely the B vitamin. If it's cloudy yellow or a dark yellowish brown then you need more water. I take a B vitamin every morning and the next two or three times I pee afterward, it's really bright yellow. Just be sure to wipe really well afterward because the bright yellow urine can actually stain your underwear.

Here's a link to the Mayo Clinic's website where they describe urine colors and causes. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/urine-color/AN00868

And here is their info on stool colors. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/stool-color/AN00772

It seems that yellow stool is an indication of excess fat in the stool.

One time I ate this rainbow swirl ice cream from TCBY that must have been made up of nearly pure food coloring. Well the next day I had this excellent tie-dyed blue and green swirly poop that even colored the water! My intestines are still probably that color!

Excess fat in the stool is not necessarily a good sign. It can signal malabsorption, basically it means that you are not digesting your food properly and can cause malnourishment, etc.
