...of women have PCOS. I mean, wow, look at the numbers!
So, here goes the introductory.
I'm a medicine-interested student, and I read up on diseases/syndromes/disorders that coincided with my symptoms. I had a few guesses, but I'm no doctor. And honestly, I wasn't too bothered. I mean, no periods. Joy, right? Alright, so that was stupidity right there. Your anatomy works in a way for a reason. Doi.
Anyway, I was diagnosed today. I feel moronic now. I'm 18. Though that's not the point. I'm okay with it. It's just.. the thought of cysts... give me the creeps. It does. I dont like them. They look icky. YesyesIknow, whatsshedoinginmedicine? It's my one vice. And here I go and have it.
Ugh. Problem is, I'm obese. Not proud about it, but so there.
Mmm... I'm rambling. So I'll stop here. Nice to see others. No matter how much you know, at the core, we're human, so I'm glad (if you think about it, being glad about not being alone is awful) but yeah. I'm glad I'm not alone, because it's wonderfully refreshing to see how many of you have gotten children and are happy and are living fulfilling lives.
It's great. This is why I want to do med.
Love, Jamie @ Kavi.
