Thread: Sore Breasts

    Default Sore Breasts

Sorry if this may be TMI but I need to ask. For the past month or so my right breast has been sore to the touch. At first I thought it may be because AF was coming. But now she has come and gone and the soreness is still there (even more that before). My left breast is starting like the right one but nowhere as bad yet. What makes the soreness even worse, I am a stomach sleeper. But even during the day, they are very sore (the right one especially).

I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this and maybe have some suggestions on what it could be.

Breast cancer does not run in my family but I know there is always a possibility. I am going to call the dr monday morning but for now I thought I would ask here.

Thank you in advance for any input.

i sometimes get sore boobs if i am having a bit of a hormonal month - i know that there are times i am getting hormone surges and they feel sore. i also have fibroadenomas (benign lumps), which can get sore at certain times of the month.

give the doc a call and see what might be going on.

evening primrose is supposed to help with breast soreness - might be worth giving that a go.

let us know how the doc visit goes.

I'm kind of having the same thing right now. I keep waiting for AF to start, cause it's usually a pre-symptom, but it hasn't yet.... now if I can only keep the kitties from trampling over me at night with their heavy little paws...

It's been happening more probably over the last 6 months. I mentioned it the last time I was to the Dr, but she didn't seem to care.
It's either butt kickin's or lollipops, and I'm fresh out of lollipops!

I get that also when I am having a hormonal month. And I too have lumpy boobs but my doctor also says that if you eat or drink too much caffine it can cause soreness too! So keep a close eye on your caffine in take. Hope they get better it sucks I know!

CAFFINE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe that's it. I have been having a hot chocolate in the morning. I have a friend who owns a auto repair shop and every morning I stop there to get coffee and I get a hot chocolate. I will have to lay off the hot chocolate and see if it gets any better. The time frame seems to fit with when I started going to the garage and the sore boobs.

    Thanks for that info.
