I agree--met rocks! I have been on it for a month, and I have lost 3 pounds--most of that weight loss coming since I moved up to 1500mg!

I also had a period this month!

Congrats on getting those periods regulated!

    Hi newfiecyster

Can I just ask you how you lost so much weigh? Was It down to the Metformin too?

    Thanks

I lostall the weight by doing the insulin resistance diet and by taking the met. The combination of the 2 is what work for me.

Hi. I'm new to the site and Met and Spiro. Did you find that it made you lightheaded or dizzy? If so, does it get better?

I love met too! It took a little while for it to "kick in" but I feel so much better... like I'm out of that fog people have talked about. And for the past 9 months or so, I know exactly which week to expect my period - this is a completely new feeling for me - I wouldn't have known if it was going to show up at all.

I LOVE Met too! It's great, I was completely stalled in my weightloss. I had been trying to take off these last 20-30 pounds or so for a few years after an initial weight loss of about 30 pounds(I was 190 before.) With the help of Met, my efforts at the gym are FINALLY paying off! And now that I am fine-tuning my diet even more, the weight is coming off. YAY! And I have gotten AF three times since I started taking it on January 9 of this year! Before Met, I was lucky if I got AF 4 times a year total!
And I have dropped 10 pounds so far and I think I may readjust my ticker once I hit my initial goal and try to take off an additional 5-10 pounds.
    Met is the best.
Found out I was pregnant on 5/22/08! A surprise but me and DH are so in love with our LO!
