I was on Paxil once, and though my withdrawal symptoms weren't as bad as they could be, one of the things many people experience while trying to get off Paxil is sort of an electric shock feeling in the brain/body.

I know you didn't say you were trying to get off it, and I haven't read of this happening to people still taking it, but maybe there's a weird link to the medication?

Believe me, it's the Paxil. If I skip a day I get those wierd electric shocks all over. It's horrible! Sometimes I get them even when I have taken my Paxil. I hate that stuff. I have tried to get off of it several times, but even when weaned off slowly, the shocks (and other issues) are to much too bear and I have to continue taking it. And they say it's not addictive- yeah right!!
