    Hmmm, Friday night is usually "date night" for me & my DH. I'll see if we can switch nights once a month.

    Ideas - going out for dinner? Meeting at a mall? I would suggest doing something outdoors, but at night it might not work so well.

    Anyone else?

    It doesn't need to be Friday nights necessarily - anytime on the weekend really. Outdoors sounds good to me too.

    I'm still in ottawa, and actually thought this thread would be a good place to see if anyone in the area would like a gym body... i go to goodlife fitness 5-6 / 7 days per week.

    Question Meet UP ??

    Hi fellow Cysters,

    I would be interested in the monthly meeting as well. We really got to get this going now that summer is here... It could simply be all meet at a coffee shop and go for a stroll in along the trail together...

    I know I could totally use the friendship and support as we all could.

    Let's do a lil poll to help us...
    1) what day and time would be best for you??
    2) where do you recommend?

    NightRider - You can answer as well, as we are going to try to organize to get the most amount of people wanting to attend, to be able to.

    OMG i just foudn this thread i wish i had found it earlier lol. im in teh bayshore area..well i live like half a block from the bayshore mall lol. its great to see so many ladies from the ottawa area i was starting to think they were scarce bc i couldnt find anyone

    Hi all, I'm in Ottawa too. I was diagnosed two weeks ago and I'm still reeling from all the learning I have to do. Is there a support group in Ottawa? I'm scouring the 'net for support online, but it would be great to talk to some real live cysters to know I'm not alone...

    I am also in Ottawa and new to everything, including the diagnosis. Finally gave in and I am tying met 500mg, for the past two days. A bit scared of the S/E. Glad to see I am not alone with all of this. Are any of you seeing a specialists?? I am only seeing my GP at the moment.

    hey stella9 how are u where bousts in ottawa are you? im not seeing a specialist yet i am on metformin tho have been for 4 years n imalso on spironolacton bc i have the hirsutism part
