Default Newbie and new with PCOS too

    Hi there,

I was recently diagnosed with PCOS after TTC for 1.5 years. My doctor has started me on Metformin for 3-months in hopes it will help with my insulin resistance and make me ovulate. Before this diagnosis the only way I would have a period is if it was Provera-induced!

Anyway, I will be reading through the boards as it looks like there is a lot of useful information on here. Thank goodness for sites like these!

Hello I'm new to this site. I don't even know where to start and if I even did my profile right. Well I'm 23 married with no children and I just recently found out that I have PCOS and I'm trying to conceive. I'm on 500mg of Metformin,200mg of Prometrium, and Prenatal vitamins and I have a small fibroid cyst on my left ovary and I also have sciatica. I'm just wanting to other woman who are going through the same thing and can give me some useful advice.
