Default Not really a problem, but curious.

Is it common to have PCOS and very regular cycles at the same time? Just a recap for those of you, so far the only evidence of PCOS I have is a very high testosterone level. I just had a CT scan of my ovaries/adrenals yesterday and hopefully I'll know the results before the week is up. But, I got my period yesterday, 29 days after the start of my last one, and couldn't help but wonder if this is supposed to happen to someone with PCOS.

Did anyone here have regular periods when they were first diagnosed?

I'd guess at least half the people with PCOS have regular cycles. I do.

Mine were bang on 28 days for years. I couldn't get anyone to let me have tests because of it despite weight gain facial hair and hairloss.

Finally I got diagnosed and after a couple of years my periods were very light even though they were regular. Metformin is bringing them back to thier usual flow now.

I don't know how 'common' it is, but it certainly not 'unusual':

I miss about 2 AFs a year, the rest are usually right on time 30 days apart or so.
