The Irish have always been victims of negative stereotype. I mean people think we're all drunks and brawlers; and sometimes that gets you so mad all you wanna do is get drunk and punch somebody.
Hi I am in Medway OH and I see a doc at Miami Valley Dr.Kathryn Sanford who was there thru my pregnancy and learned alot about PCOS because of me and my Endo. Hope this helps and if you need to just talk my e-mail is Mjeanrgrs@aol.com
Dr.Kathryn Sanford she learned alot from having me as a patient w/ my twins preg.
She is a little rough around the edges but when it counts she is all about making sure you are ok and was really willing to listen and understand more about my PCOS

I haven't tried them but I have heard of a fertility center i affiliated with Kettering Hospital. I personally go to Dr. Jennifer Thie in cincinnati. I dearly love her, she has helped me so much! I also think that the Mercy Hospital (group of hospitals) has an actual special clinic for PCOS in Cinci, they do all fertility treatments, up to IVF.

I HIGHLY recommend Kettering Reproductive Medical in Kettering. We were pg with #1 within 6 months of seeing Dr. Burwinkel for the first time. then we were pg with #2 within a month of going back to see him.
Good luck

If you want a family doc and not a obgyn, try Dr clark at Indian Ripple Family Practice....she knows a lot about PCOS and helped me get pregnant with my 3rd child. Good Luck!

Not sure about the Dayton area but you can see Dr. Jennifer Thie in Cincinnati.I saw here several years ago. She is really nice and very proactive. She doesn't waste time on things if it isn't working she moves onto the next thing. I am not seeing her now but she is a good doc.when it comes to fertility stuff.
Also,Dr.Gluck in Cincinnati. He specialize in PCOS and Cholesterol. I saw him a long time ago,his methods at the time didn't work for me but for other people he has been great.
Also, there is Dr. Maureen Pellitier in Cincinnati she was an OBGYN for years and years now she has gone the natural route and does help women with their hormone issues and with PCOS.She can be costly b/c not all insurances cover her b/c she is doing natural medicines.
Good luck!!!!
I saw Dr. Chin in Fairfield (right down the road from Jungle Jim's). He is wonderful. Very personable and knowledgeable. He and his staff are fantastic. He does a great job of making you feel important and like you are the only patient he has. He d/x me with PCOS and knows how to treat patients with PCOS. He explains things in a way that any nonmedical person can understand. When we decide to TTC #2 we will be heading straight back to him. I would highly recommend him. I, too, have heard good things about Dr. Jennifer Thie.
