Hi All,
Been looking around the site for a few weeks and it has been helpful so I decided to register. I am new to the whole BB thing so please be patient as I figure all this out.
Most of all I am looking for support from other women with PCOS because I know no one else with this condition and sometimes it feels like no one understands you.
My husband and I are trying to conceive. I have been blessed with a five year old daughter, who was conceived with Clomid. The GYN I had when I conceived my daughter obviously did not know about PCOS and it was never brought up. I was diagnosed after I switched doctors a little over a year ago. I was not having periods and one day I had a horrible pain on my left side and after doing a sonogram he soon realized I had PCOS. He also did the lab work to confirm this. I currently do take Metformin and my only complainant is everything I eat runs right through me. It's a small sacrifice to the symptoms of PCOS and if it helps me ovulate again. I just started charting my BBT and so far nothing. I see the doctor next month and I am sure I will start Clomid soon.
I have a positive attitude about it all and believe everything is in Gods hands. This does not mean I am immune to the emotions of infertility.
