Asalamu alaikum wa rahmit allah wa barakatoo- ya akhwati fil Islam (peace be upon you sisters in Islam),

Some of you may remember me from old postings on this thread. Mashallah it's VERY GOOD NEWS to hear from some sisters that they are pregnant (mashallah tabaruk allah).

I have not been keeping up with posts since I left, but I see that there are many new sisters on this thread. All I can say is, "WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME."

I have some good news of my own, I am now 6 months pregnant with BABY YUSEF (mashallah tabaruk allah) and may Allah (shwt) bring him safely and healthily in due time.

I was on some supplements that a fellow PCOSer reccommended for me, and after 1 week of taking them, I got pregnant. I am in NO WAY saying it was the supplement that made me pregnant, but I am saying that through: CONSTANT PRAYER, GIVING SADAA' (donations), drinking RUKYA WATER (water that has been prayed on), and asking family and friends to pray for us, it happened alhamdulilah.

I only found out 1 month ago, so we're in no way prepared for the baby, but we're trying to get there. Alhamdulilah for all things, the good and the bad.

I wanted you all to know, its all a matter of time before all our dreams come true, no matter what they may be. We are being tested from ALLAH (shwt). In Islam, we are taught that we are tested over and over throughout this life.

YA RUB- may all these Muslima's prayers and dreams come true, no matter what they may be. Ameen, ameen, ameen!! Khair inshallah to you all, H
ave a great day! You are all blessed for many reasons, but most importantly of all, for just being MUSLIMA's!

Asalamu alaikum wa rahmit allah wa barakatoo

    Asalamu alaikum,

Thanks so much ladies for all your support. I've loved the name YUSEF for years, in fact I've been called Umm Yusef due to my love of the name.

I pray that he'll come safely and be 100% healthy, and that I'll raise him to be an excellent Muslim who leads others to the correct path, ameen.

I actually felt close to no symptoms for the first 3 months. But, once the 3rd/4th month came I started to feel nauseas and felt super exhausted. But, I "thought" that my nausea was from a supplement I was taking to GET pregnant, and I "thought" the exhaustion was from moving.

We had been in the process of a move to Seattle for a job, about 70 miles from our home, and had to move all our things completely on our own, during Ramadan time. It was very stressful during that time, due to: moving, new job, attending a new semester at University and Ramadan all at the same time.

I had no idea I was pregnant! I still can't really believe it!! Mashallah! Mashallah! Mashallah!

#1-My sis-in-law was also recently diagnosed with PCOS and we were so saddened to find out about it, but we recenlty found out that she is pregnant! Again she did it with prayers, family duhaa, but most interestingly, she did it without meds! Mashallah!

#2- I also have a friend who has been TTC for 10 years and subhan allah, after her husband divorced her for not being able to have kids, she met a nice man, married him, and immedietly got pregnant! Mashallah! Mashalah! Mashallah!

I just wanted to write in and give all the ladies ALL THE HOPE IN THE WORLD, may ALLAH (shwt) bless all your wombs and may ALLAH (shwt) also bless those of us with bulging wombs with healthy babies and easy deliveries, ameen.

Thanks for warming my heart ladies , allahy khaleekum,
    Asalamu Alaikum

    Assalaamu Aalaikum Sisters,

I had my 17 week u/s last week and everything looks fine Alhamdu'Allah.

Rania, thanks for starting the thread sister. I hope u and Jennah are doing well.

maroon, I hope ur pregnancy is going well. Just 10 more weeks and Insha'Allah u'll have a beautiful baby in ur arms.

Aisha, Prewritten destiny, hope u are well and in the best of health sisters.

TeacherDanna, I'm so happy sister to hear about ur pregnancy!! Thats wonderful. wow what a surprise it must have been. But atleast u didnt have to worry during the initial months. Insha'Allah in 3 months u'll be having a baby, how wonderful. I wish u all the best with ur pregnancy in health and happiness. I love the name Yusuf. Its beautiful.

miria, I'm glad that they got the little blockage out.

To all those who are ttc, I just wanted to add that sis maroon, sis TeacherDanna and myself were trying to conceive almost around the same time for a very long time and now Alhamdu'Allah we have been blessed. Dont ever give up ttc. All of us have found our own success in different ways, Insha'Allah just put all ur faith in Allah(swt) and pray and keep on trying, Insha'Allah u'll be rewarded.

Hope all the other sisters are doing well Insha'Allah.

    Take care everyone.

    Salam sisters,

Yes, we truly are blessed in many ways. It has been my experience in the past that Allah (shwt) slowly tests us over time, but when he chooses to open doors for us, he doesn't open them slowly, he opens the FLOOD GATES all at the same time. Mashallah mashallah, mashallah.

I'm very happy to hear that some other sisters are pregnant, who have been seeking to be pregnant for a very long time (as in my case, I've been married for 3 years next month). For the other sisters who are TTC and the others who may consider TTC soon, take it easy, don't stress about theses things, learn to listen to your body and inshalah one of these days you will be blessed with your own little BUNDLE of JOY, ameen.

awww mashallah teacher danna im so happy for you. thats such good news.im wondering if i should ask my dr if i should have hysterosalpinography done since im on the path to TTC.im so nervous and worried.i try not think about it most of the time i dont but subhanallah if and when i do i get nervous.i believe allah will answer our duaas but its so hard to imagine actually seeing a positive preg test or actualyl feeling symptoms or picturing my belly growing subhanallah.

i wanted to share with everyone the duaa of prophet zakariya 3alayhi salam when he and his wife were having trouble conceiving

“Rabbi laa tadharni fardan wa anta khayr ul-waaritheen (O my Lord! Leave me not single (childless), though You are the Best of the inheritors).” This is a beautiful du’aa’ which is very appropriate in this case. Also suitable is another prayer of Zakariya: “Rabbi hab li min ladunka dhurriyyatan tayyibatan innaka samee’ al-du’aa’ (O my Lord! Grant me from You a good offspring. You are indeed the All-Hearer of invocation).”
{…And whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him.} [65:2]
