**Cinnamon and Vitex gals** ~part 2~

Hello Ladies!

I'm another newbie and I'm so glad I've found this board! I've been getting absolutely desperate as ttc #1 for seven years now. I can't take met and I've had my quota of clomid which did make me ovulate but only one egg at a time. I bought some agnus castus a few weeks ago but have been a bit frightened about trying it - I'm going to give it a go now though! I didn't know about the soy either!

Hello ladies,

Mommy1 and Annie, I have been told by other soulcysters, that Vitex and Soy should not be taken at the same time, so if you take soy for 5 days, you should stop Vitex during the 5 days, because soy cancels the vitex out. I have read on the Vitex drug interactions, that you should not take Vitex if you are on any type of estrogens. I started Soy, then stopped, because I was on Vitex, and still waiting for my AF. Which I still am waiting for AF. She doesn't like to visit much.

I also read on a board you should take it on an MT tummy. Which I will start today.

I use Vitex from Natures way. I was using 400 mg a day, and a wk ago upped it to 1200 mg. the instructions say to do that for 8 -12 wks.

oh, i was on cinnamon at 1000 mg, and i was very edgy, had to get a different dosage, i was feeling sorry for my DH, and doggies....
