Startng Clomid 2/08

I just did an HSG test and everythig came back perfect as well as well as m DH's sperm count. Anyway, I was wondering how it was starting clomid for the first time, what side effects did you have first starting clomid and did anyone have any luck stories? i would love to hear them, I keep hearing stories of women having no luck and I would love some encouragement!!!

HI! I actually am just finishing up my clomid for the first cycle. I will take my 5th pill tomorrow.

So far, I have had nothing significant in the way of side effects. I have been a little moody, but nothing terrible. I have had a bit of a headache too, but my sinuses are acting up, so it could be either one.

hi. i just got back from a visit to a new gyn (upon my re's rec) and i too will be starting clomid. he gave me provera to induce my period then i'll start clomid on day 3. he's starting me on 100mg and said that there are very few side effects.

here's what i am to do....how about you?
provera to induce period
days 3-7 clomid twice a day
days 8-12 estradiol 2x day
days 17-27 prochieve
days 11-16 robitussin 2x day

I only had mild hot flashes on the first couple of rounds. They got worse and more prolonged with each dosage increase and with each successive round. A small price to pay, IMO, for two pregnancies in five tries!

Im On Clomid Right Now. I've Only Been Taking It For 4 Days Though. So I Really Don't Notice A Change In My Moods. My Husband Does Though. It's Usually Not Normal For Me To Fly Off The Handle Over Small Things. Anyways, Today I Did.. I Was Mad At Him Because We Were Out Of Butter.

Well I'm On My 2nd Round Of Clomid Can't Really Say Iv'e Had Any Sice Affects... I Got A Little Cold This Time So I Don't No....just A Little Headahces That's It...last Time Nothing So Hopefully This Time Something

I don't have any experience with clomid (yet) but I'm here to give you some encouragement! I know 2 women who conceived with clomid and while both admitted to some moodiness & crying they also said it was worse on their husband than it was on them. So just warn him!

I just finished my 2nd round of clomid 100mg CD3-7 and the only side effects that I had were a little dizziness and some moodiness (according to my DH). I would recommend taking it at night before bed that way you sleep through any side effects you may get. Good luck!

I am also starting my Clomid cycle in the next little bit.....as soon as AF decides to show!
Just had a progesterone shot yesterday to help get things on that end of my cycle going....

I'm starting 50 mg Clomid on Monday (CD5). I'm actually excited about the possibility. My skin could turn blue if it meant I could be pg.

Its my first round of cloimd, im on cd 9 now- only had couple of hot flushes at night and thats about it. hoping that this is all it will take.

I am also starting on Clomid this cycle, fist have to have an HSG....But praying that comes back good then I will start around 2/8 2/9 somewhere in there. I am older now and NEVER thought that TTCing would be so hard . The other 2 were a huge suprise and are both now in college..... What in the world am I thinking????(about babies and nothing else that is what)

I just finished my 2nd round of clomid for 100mg. I didn't o the first round and not sure about this time. I haven't gone to the dr again. and af hasn't come yet. So, I don't know!

hi everyone
I thought I would jump in, I get insomnia with my AF which is very annoying..
I just got AF today, I had my last provera 13 days ago so I was really getting worried that we would not be able to start the clomid now but here AF is and for once I'm not minding the cramps and insomnia too much. I am starting clomid on CD 4 and will take it for 5 days. I use the Clear blue easy fertility monitor and check my mucus so I can be pretty sure about when or if I ovualte. Good luck to everyone out there, here is hoping to the BFP'S!
