Yes, toothpaste is terrible! My dentist said skip it until the m/s is over. He said adults use it more for the "clean taste" than anything and that the flouride isn't that necessary at our age. If you desire that "clean feeling" he said use a little mouthwash. Also, he told me to rinse my mouth with ice water before I start brushing my teeth to sort of numb the back part of my mouth. I guess it helps to prevent gagging.

Evyn, I have had a terrible metallic taste in my mouth for a few weeks now. Nothing helps me, except drinkng a little lemonade or adding a little lemon to my ice water.

Hmm, I don't remember a metallic taste specifically, but I might have had one.

I was okay for the most part with brushing my teeth. I went through about a week where it was a little rough, but as long as I didn't go too in depth with the brushing I was fine. Strangely, I could brush my tongue without a problem. You'd think that'd cause a gag.

Yeah!! So I passed my 3 hour glucose test! Yeah!!

    Just marking my spot.

Ultrasound went great today. Baby A is 2 lbs 2oz and Baby B is 2 lbs 1 oz. So both good sizes and similar in size (which is most important). They looked really cramped in there. I felt a little bad for them, but they are both still head down. After I left I wondered if they are going to be staying like that now that they are as big as they are. I'll have to ask my doctor next apt. I am still leaning towards having a vaginally delivery if I can. This is going to be my one and only pregnancy and I really want to have the experience. My doctor said she totally understands, but she doesn't want me to get my hopes set on it b/c things happen. I had a friends daughter just have twin boys and she did it vaginally, however the woman is huge... not a woman starting out at 110 lbs.

Glad to hear your babies are doing so well! You want to push 'em out huh. Well I admire you, I wish I had that drive of wanting childbirth...there is not a bone in my body that wants to push a child out through my vagina. BUT, I hope that things stay as they are (heads down), so you can get exactly what you want.

My babies have barely been moving at all today...why must I freak out everytime that happens? I laugh at myself...

Sheepie- Congrats on passing the 3 hour glucose test!!! I know several women that had to do the 3hr. and passed it. One of my friends said it helps if you don't eat sweets for a week before your appt, not sure if that is true.
You don't look like you pig out on too many sweets

Refrain- I have heard that if your baby(s) aren't moving then you can eat a little chocolate or drink some caffeine and they'll start moving. Maybe try that to ease your mind. Although I'm sure everything is fine.

Auturn- I'm glad your u/s went well. Will you have to be induce to deliver vaginally or just whenever it happens?

bobbysgirl- I hope you feel better soon!

Refrain - I totally know what you mean. I hate it when the babies don't move alot during a day. It totally freaks me out. I went to the doctors during my 24 week b/c of it just to hear their heartbeats. I felt like a freak, but felt better. The nurse told me next time I feel freaked, drink OJ and wait for the movement.... I haven't tried it though. I do want to push them out! LOL. I know it sounds crazy, but I do. I am going to be disappointed if I can't, but I'm not getting my hopes up b/c I know it's a 50-50 shot.

Wantsababy - I am really not sure how it will go down. I guess as long as everything is ok w/ me and the babies they will just let me go until I pop.

Flow - Oh, flow just hang in there girl. You are doing so good, just try to visuallize that cervix opening up and maybe it will move faster. Or... dare I say..... have some sex w/ your DB to get that labor moving.

Congratulations on passing your 3 hour GTT, Sheepie!

Flow: Hang in there! Like Aturnbg said, maybe sex will help or perhaps taking a lot of long walks. My cousin's wife threatened jumping on a trampoline with her last baby (ha, ha).

Autrnbg: I hope you can deliver your babies the way you want. You are braver than I. The other day, after watching "A Baby Story", I told DH that I didnt' know how they were going to get our baby out, because I didn't like either option! He told me that it was a little late to think about that now. (LOL).

    Thanks for the new thread!!

My mom had my brother and I both cia c-section...but...Im a good 4-5 inches taller than my mom. She was pretty petite at the time, and they may have done it because of that, Im not sure. Im not worried about a vaginal birth except for the tearing, EEEEEKKK!

aturn... ugggh... lol.. we have been dtd every night!!! i thought it would help some... but now that i know it didnt... u can forget about it... well lol db knows he can forget about it...

wow... i was watching birth day live or deliver me last night (im not sure which one i was half asleep and they were both recorded) but the woman had twins vaginally with no complications at delivery... i was amazed... both twins were head down... no epi no nothing!!! or maybe she did... i seriously dont remember... but i was in shock... ive seen one being delivered vaginal but not both... ehhh... but she made it look so easy too... her babies were very small like 3 pounds each... so maybe thats why... and she had 2 previous LARGE children... ehh...

i was having dreams that after the baby was here i called the RE and told him i wanted to try for multiples... haa... and then i woke up to go peee... what a coincidence...

so i know walking is supposed to help!!! but i dont wanna walk now!!! i was going everywhere and walking everywhere a couple weeks ago and now... heh... forget it... my fat prego behind doesnt want to waddle anywhere... ive become so lazy now...

ok sorry its early for me... i didnt get to bed until 6-7am and db just woke me... so im kinda out of it...
