Default anyone have consistanly low body temp.

I thought something was wrong with my thermometer so I went out and bought a new one. I haven't even been recording my BBT because I swear it can't be right. My BBT and random daytime temps have been between 94.3 and 96.9. That just doesn't seem right to me.. I'm not cold or anything and my husbands always comes back a normal temp like 98.1 or so.. Anyone else get really low temps?

Yep, I do. My pre-ovulatory temps are pretty much between 96.5 and 96.9, taken first thing in the morning, but even if I take it randomly throughout the day I am still on the low side. It can be a sign of hypothyroidism. Didn't you say in another post you have a heart problem? Could that be contributing to the low temps?

Yep! I got the same problem and have bought a couple of thermometers already. I was not like that when I was TTC#1 but I have no further symptoms (apart not knowing what my hormones are up to!) and no one has considered checking my thyroid but maybe I should.

Has the Vitex changed anything for you re BBT? I was considering taking it as well. How long have you been taking it. They say it could take up to six months to kick in.

I was checked for Hypothyroidism back in Oct and they said it was normal. I called my doc today and they're gonna recheck. I do have lots of heart problems but never had issues with body temp. Its very odd. I thought maybe its because I'm living up north (I've lived in SWFL my whole life) and I figured perhaps I'm not used to the weather, and its been chilly the past couple days so I dunno. I'm moving back to Fla on Sunday so we'll see if there is a change. This morning I checked my bbt and it was 97.4 so thats a bit better. I dunno what it was before the vitex because I never checked it. I started it on April 1st so almost one month now. I've noticed cm change and had some cramping but thats it so far

I could never do the BBT because of erratic temperatures.

But normally my temp is 95-96. If I have a normal temp I am sick. I had a 100.4 this pregnancy and felt like I was dying.

I should probably have my thyroid retested because I was tested 2x so far and my thyroid is fine. But my mother developed hypothyroid in her 30's.

Years ago when I tried charting I was shocked to find my temperature constantly lower than other women's. Charting was a mess and I didn't bother with it for too long.

My normal temp is 97.4, anything higher than that and I will feel feverish.
My thyroid tests always come back normal, even though when I give Doctor my symptoms they are sure it's my thyroid.

I'm hypothyroid due to a thyroidectomy & my temps are always low 1st thing in the am. Usually they're between 96.1-96.7 but here lately they're in the 97 range...I started met 12 days ago so I wonder if that's it???

I wrote my own chart because most of my temps were between 95 & 97. However I did notice a pattern. I don't have thyroid problems (yet, they run in the family).

I have low body temperatures too....usually my temp is around 97.2 in the morning and (strangly) only around 97.6 at night. It seems as though there should be a bigger difference. I used to have daily temps in the 96s but somehow over the last couple of months my body temp has gone up a little. It's kind of strange now that I think of it.....hmm...
