Thread: Potential Newbie!

    Smile Potential Newbie!

Hello, my name's Donna. I haven't been officially diagnosed with PCOS yet, but both me and my doctor are pretty sure that is what it is. I am having a scan and blood test next week which should tell us what it is. I have thought i had PCOS for quite a while as I seem to have all the symptoms, but I was a bit embarassed to go to the dr about it. I'm pleased I did now though! Anyway, I just joined this group to get to know other people who are living with PCOS as I am a bit anxious about the scan and the result! This site seems to have lots of good information and lovely people on, though, so I hope i get to know you all soon! Thanks for reading all that, Donna

I am in the same boat you are. I am brand new to this site, but have not officially been diagnosed yet. My appt is in two weeks. I have also thought I have had PCOS for awhile. I am sure that we will both learn a lot here from the looks of things.

Thank you for your lovely responses and reassurances, it's just a bit worrying to have any kind of test done, I know I'll feel better once I've got a diagnosis!
AYCB81, Good luck with your tests, as we're in the same boat if you want anyone to talk to or figure things out with I'm happy to be confused with you, feel free to private message me
