Rhonda- I agree with the rest of the ladies, Vitex does take a while to work so I suggest going back to the doctor or seeing a new one. Have you tried a RE?

Dana - I decided I was going with NSI brand Vitex too... so we can try the same product at the same time... I have a bottle in a half of the Natures Way Vitex still. And I am going to your brand of Progesterone cream.... I am picking up Dong Quai from GNC... 550mg per tablet. Probably order the raspberry tea from the vitacost too. I am going to get this body regulated....

I see that you are switching Vitex... where do they sell NSI? Just curious, since I currently take the same one you take.

AFM, I am keeping my fingers crossed that my temps stay normal...so far, so good.
I just finished Soy, lets see what it does for me this month.

Letty - truthfully I totaled out our only van. hitting a deer... As for with my body.... the Natures Way never regulated me yet... at 1200mg my temps were better... which it may have been because it will take my precious body 6 months or something... but Lindsay started using the NSI and it's working for her, and it's 1600mg a day.... in the directions... so Dana and I checked into it. We are both waiting for our Natures Way to run out. I just now decided to definitely get it... why not try it at the same time as someone else... on day 10 of Progestrone Cream... I will add the Soy too at some point, just want an AF or 2.... before throwing it in the mix...

i think it actually says 1600 mg twice per day! so thats soo much more.
unbelievable! I got my buckwheat flour today..im trying some diet i saw in a family circle where you dont eat carbs for 1 week and then week 2&3 only on certain days..so next week i will try a recipe with it.

I think i may just cave and order the pills though it will probably be alot easier than cooking or baking every day lol we will see they are soo expensive

Yeah seems that way. I'll have to see how you get on with the NCP. I'm going to start it again this Thurs as it will be 14 days after trying it the last time.

I think I'm going to stick with the 2000mg of Vitex for mo (as will have been taking it for 3 months next week ), and also as it seems you guys are going to soon try higher doses...had a look at the NSI brand to compare to mine...every Vitex brand/bottle says something different. And then I'll go from there depending on how the next cycle with NCP goes. Might take less Vitex at a later date depending on whether I can eventually get a regular cycle.

So it seems ive been having little pains in my ovaries the past few days...but I'm confused because they seem to only come around when I have to go #2. I haven't had these pains before, and they've only just happened for the past 3 days. What does this sound like?

Faith- I have GNC Dong Quai too..but im probably going to switch to Natures way or some other brand because I noticed that the GNC brand only says to take 1 tablet daily and the other brands say to take 1-2 tablets 2 or 3 times a day. So im finishing off my bottle and then gonna probably get natures way or Solray or something..I like having the proper instructions on the bottle..Even when i googled Dong Quai many people talked about taking much more than 550
Lately ive been trying to take at least 2 or 3 of thr 550 per day

Snow- 2000mg is alot compared to what I am use too so I would stick with that and see how it treats you

Peggy- I would think your body is trying to do something good but at the same time if its only during that time you might be confusing it for those types of pains..hmm not really sure.
Its so confusing when we turn the switch on to be in tune with our bodies because we notice everything.

Peggy - I haven't had the exact thing happen, but my body is trying so hard to be regulated.... it's having cramps, bb's sore, all that for the past 2 months, but no AF. I look at it like Vitex is trying to do something...

Dana - GNC is the only place for me to get stuff unless I order it... so Sat I am going to go get it, so I can start on Sat, and then maybe when it's time to refill, I can go order another brand. As for now, I guess we have to up our doses ourselves, and then find the brand with the higher doses in the directions... do you feel a big difference with Don Quai?

I didnt feel any differences with Dong Quai but i realized when i stopped my AFs have been very light. So now that I am back on we will see if I get AF this cycle and or maybe even next cycle if Im back to normal.

Thats what Im doing now with my GNC dong quai..im just taking more since I still have alot in the bottle
