omg we have the same stats...same problems i m 23 too. and i feel the same way as u do. i way 169lbs and i m 5´5. i go to gym regularly but getting on the scale after one week of running and other cardio exercises and not seeing the needle move is very DISCOURAGING. i hate myself sumtimes and often cry. i have bad acne and hirsuitism, so i avoid talking to people also. i have zero social life coz i feel like they´ll b distracted by the scars(acne) or hair on my face. so all i have r online friends and trust me girl.... it is LONELYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

Thank-you for your video! I completely understand. I don´t know how you can be so happy!? Everytime I go to my doctor I get so frustrated. THEY NEED TO FIND A CURE FOR THIS FAST!

I would strongly recommend you to see a highly qualified homeopath and start treatment. I was diagnosed with PCOS about 6 years ago and I went on Homeopathic treatment for about 9 months. I did not have to take any strong medications like birth control pills (with huge side effects) and I am completely normal now. I am not putting on weight even without excercise. There are no side effects to homeopathic remedies. You really need to see a practitioner as the remedy is specific to the individual. It is not just treating the symptoms, but correcting the problems as an individual (holistic). Good luck. I would never take any harmful pills for any disease as the side effects you get are not worth it.

I never realized my Youtube videos were up here, so thank you all for the kind words... The most recent update for me is that I lost a total of 40 pound now... I am down to 140-145 due to lots of running and cutting carbs out of my diet for a minimum of two weeks. I saw the pounds dropping and I was even more motivated!

Running an hour to two a day?? Yowza! Thanks for posting this. It's one thing to read about others with PCOS, but another to actually see someone talking about it.

Congratulations on the weight loss! Are you still doing well and going to the gym? I know it´s December and you wrote that in June, but still- way to accomplish your goal! Thanks for the video. I was just diagnosed with PCOS last week and I´m 5´3´ and 166. I´m only 20 years old :( The summer after I graduated HS I was 18 and weighed 117. I would give ANYTHING to make the PCOS symptoms go away. The hardest part for me I think is going to be the meal planning- if you have any suggestions please let me know! Hope you´re doing well!

Yeas I have done well with the diet... I have sorta stayed at the 145-150 mark. I am going to try and lose another 10-15 I wouldnt mind to just tone what I have and make sure I dont go back to the old me...

I just say with our condition, watch your carb intake! Each lots and lots of greens and just be active... sitting around on the computer and tv wont help. Go out with friends, walk the mall, the park, go dancing! anything to keep you moving and constantly buring more calories
