We tried for 4.5 years with 1500 mg. Met ER, Clomid (resistent), Femara, shots, HcG trigger, IUI, natural treatments, homiopath, etc. Nothing worked.

Stayed on 1500 mg. Met ER. Went on bcp for 4 weeks (all active pills so no period), had ovarian drilling, took active bcp for 2 more weeks, had period, 2 weeks later showed up pregnant with no meds, other than Met ER which was reduced to 1000 mg. after surgery and I forgot to take a couple of times, no timing of sex (in fact, only had it maybe 3 times after AF), no O kit, nothing.

Baby should be here in around a month.

My first son I was 18 and it was pure luck-we had no responsibilities and would seriously just have sex literally all day so it was bound to happen..

This baby-We tried for a year before being dx with PCOS and then I started met 2000mg at the end of may and idk if i ov'd the whole time but i obviously ov'd in sept cause now im preggers!

P.S. I also weighed about 190 lbs when I was dx and from May-Sept I lost like 60 lbs..Cut out fast food, exercised like CRAZY, and just really took care of myself. GL to u!

Met, soy cd5-9, preseed and pure spite. My now-former obgyn really infuriated me by telling me after one IUI that I needed to move on to IVF--no discussion about trying any other medications after 6 cycles of Clomid. And her office wouldn't return a phone call after I called to get my met rx refilled. Got a bfp after two cycles of soy. In your face!

Alternative: Fertility Yoga, Fertility Massage, Herbal Mix Vitamins (Dong Quai, vitex. pineapple juice powder), Geritol

1000mg Met and 50mg Clomid ~ worked 1st cycle but m/c. We tried the following month, same combo and BFP again! I did lose about 40lbs in 4 months with met before starting the Clomid.
