Hey, there! This is a great place for support. Glad you found us. I know I was very happy to find this site. People think they understand what you are experiencing but they don't really understand all the things or the variations that come with PCOS. Welcome!

I am a big fan of vitex. It worked very well for me a few years ago. I recommend you get a standardized extract. It actually is a pill (but there are liquids but not as portable and more expensive) but the amount of active ingredient is the same in every pill giving you a consistent dosage each time. There is an alternative section on here that probably gives more info on this. The brand's I have used are Nature's Way and Vittanica-sp- it's a line of herbs by Tori Hudson who does women's naturopathy. If you want to due an liquid extract Gaia and HerbPharm would be my picks. This is for the States, I don't know where u r at. Good luck!

Hi Mandi, nice to meet you :-) It really is nice to meet other women who understand what we're going through. The women on this site are really friendly and I have learned a lot since being diagnosed last year. Feel free to drop me a line any time too!

Okay, so this is my very first post. *pop*, did you hear that I just burst my cherry. I have never had a regular period in my life. And when AF decides to show she would leave for 30-60 days. So GYN finally gave me a D&C and I've been on Depo shot ever since. Recently my husband expressed the idea of ttc. But I'm not sure, does anyone know how long it takes for the Depo shot to get out of your system?
