I have a question. I was reading all the threads in regards to shaving down there. Does everyone do it? I feel kinda odd. I trim mine but haven't shaved it. I just learned a couple of years ago when I went to a Dildo party and I heard the hostess talking about trimming your hair down there. So I started to do that when I had heard others doing it.

Now as I was reading some of the comments. It seems that some shave off all their hair. Is it because your bf's or hubby's want that or is it more for yourself?

Im a fan of the 1st setting on a standard cheapo beard trimmer. The guard keeps you from nicking yourself and it keeps it really cleaned up. I dont like the whole full on shaven deal...ingrown hairs and razor burn arnt for me. But this is a nice intermediate. And my SO likes it to

I had always just trimmed and shaved in from the bikini line a little. I never had the desire to shave it all until this spring I needed a change. I knew my BF would love it, even though he's never complained...I just know he prefers little to no hair and he shaves himself down there too. So, I gave it a shot. A friend recommended the Noxema bikini razors and I have to say I LOVE THEM! I had to trim it really short first in order to shave, and I think it took so long I used all the hot water in the shower, HAHA! Anyway, afterwards it looked and felt weird at first but now I wouldn't have it any other way.

My hair grows fast so it's more maintenance, but I like it, and my BF LOVES it. I leave a little in front during the summer to keep from getting a camel toe in my bathing suit though I think it even made me more sensitive during some sexual positions, and foreplay!

The area over my pubic bone is fat, so it looks HORRIBLE if I totally shave it. So I just trim it every so often. Every once in awhile I'll shave just the coochie area (with an electric razor) and leave the pubic area alone, but it's stinkin hard to see what you're doing down there...so I usually don't bother.

My DH loves it au naturale. I've tried shaving a few times, but it's a huge turn-off for him--plus it's easier to maintain this way! It does make me feel like a freak sometimes because I know most women shave down there. Oh well.

My hubby likes it when I go totally bare, but I usually do that about once every 2 months. I use Magic Powder, shaving is too difficult, and I always nicked myself. With the Magic Powder, no ingrowns, either.

i usually shave it ALL for special occasions... like anniversaries, bday's... but other than that its usually just trimmed pretty short. i dont shave down in my lips or anything, and i used beard clippers to keep it trimmed. and i do the same as Julia and leave a lil so i dont get camel toe, but i keep it like that year round

Been shaving it completely for over 5 years and can definately tell the difference in foreplay if I haven't shaved in a while.

Hmm i guess i just trim it every other week and shave/epilate the bikini area...I shaved it all a few times and let me just say the itching and prickliness werent great Hubby would prefer less but unless he comes home with everything waxed im not going there! Too painful for me

i'd love to try a brazilian some time... but i dont know if i'd be able to handle that... then it'd be the same as shaving once it started to grow back, wish there was some better way to make it go away

I just trim for the most part. I got real frisky once & shaved it bald. Wasn't too bad & made foreplay & sex feel totally different (in a good way). Too bad it has to grow back- I've never itched & burned so much in my life. I've wanted to get a brazilian, but I'm afraid I couldn't do the upkeep. My hubby doesn't mind it either way, so for the most part I try to keep it nice & tidy.

I use a cheapy electric to trim all over about once a fortnight. I wax the edges so nothing pokes out of underwear. I like to take the waxing in a bit sometimes so get that 'landing strip' LOL! DF likes it completely bald and I have done it twice (he did it the first time!) but the regrowth is agony

I usually keep hair down there b/c I'm self-conscious of my chubby vagina lol!

I trim with an electric razor or use scissors, but be careful not to nick yourself. OUCH!

I shave the underneath but keep a strip at the front. I think it looks nicer (on me, anyway) to have a bit of hair. And it's less hassle than maintaining the completely bald look.
