    Just marking my spot...
Here is my birth story (copied and pasted)

Well, we are finally home. We came home yesterday (had to stay an extra night due to Mackenzie having a little jaundice). Everything is going pretty well. Last night the babies slept all night just waking up every 3hrs to eat, so I cant complain!
    Here is my birth story:
Saturday morning I woke up around 4:30 just having some wierd pains. I went downstairs and drank a bunch of water and gatorade and tried to lay down. Around 9 I was still having some wierd pains...like gas pains or like I needed to have a bm but couldnt...but it didnt really seem like there was a pattern. I decided to wake dh up, shower, and go in to L&D just to get it checked out. We got to L&D around 10, they hooked me up and noticed I was having contractions every 2-4 min...which was wierd because I couldnt really feel them all the time. They checked my cervix and I was only dialated 1cm. The nurse called my OB and he said to give me a shot of trebutilin (?) or something that would slow the contractions or stop them if it was false labor. Half hour later I was still having regular contractions and some of them were painful. The nurse checked my cervix again and I was still only dialated 1cm. So the dr gave me a choice...get my c/s that day or go home and see if my water breaks or I start to have more pain. She recommended just getting my c/s because she was sure this was the real deal and that I would just end up back in L&D later that night. So, we went ahead and decided to get the c/s done that day. I was super nervous and anxious about it!
So, they prepped me for surgery. DH couldnt be in the room when I got my spinal but I had a great nurse that held my hand. My legs went numb and they put the curtain up. The nurse went to get dh and he came and stood by my head. A minute later I asked the anesthesiologist what they were doing and she said they were just getting ready to pull one baby out. I heard a little cry, felt a little pressure, and then heard another little cry. Hearing those cry's was one of the most precious sounds ever. The c/s was not bad at all, very easy actually!
After surgery they took the babies to the nursery to get cleaned up and kicked dh out so they could sew me up-they did show the babies to me before taking them to the nursery. I got all sewn up and taken to my room where just dh was allowed. An hour later they brought the babies in. They said Jack was a little lazy and struggled with breathing and his o2 levels for a little while but he was fine now. The pedi said both babies were doing great for being 36 weeks.
I had skin to skin contact with Mackenzie and breast fed her...she latched on like a pro. Jack wouldnt latch on...he wouldnt open his mouth big enough, wouldnt put his tounge down, and would push back with his tounge and only latch on to my nipple. Later while trying to breastfeed again neither of them would latch on...or they might latch on for a second suck once then stop. So, I've been pumping and we've been using formula as neither baby can latch on yet.
They both developed a little jaundice and had to be under the billi lights for a night. Jack was fine after a few hours but Mackenzie needed a little more time. We just had Mackenzie's levels checked this morning and the dr said they were normal.
All in all everything went great! C/S was easy...but if you get a c/s remember to stay on top of your meds otherwise it will be extremely painful! My incision is pretty sore and if I dont take my meds regularly I have an extreme amount of pain. We had a GREAT team of nurses and they all loved our babies! My sister, my dad, and his wife came out so they have been helpful. My sister had to leave today and my dad and his wife will leave Sunday. So far the babies are very easy...they sleep, eat every 3hrs, and of course poo and pee...they dont cry often and are tolerating the formula really well! I know this will all change once they reach full term, so I'm enjoying it while I can!

The twins doctors apt. is next Wednesday and I can not wait to see how much they weight. I swear that they are at least 12lbs, Alexa might even be 13 lbs. They are moved into their 3-6 month clothes. Yikes! It makes me sad kinda that they are just getting bigger and bigger. They do not need to grow up this fast!!!!

I kind of wish mine would get bigger---she only has about 5-6 outfits that actually fit her. I am constantly washing them and trading them out.

I feel ya on that Evyn...mine are actually still in preemie (which we only have 3-4 outfits for each) but I think this weekend we are going to transition into newborn..which is exciting because we have lots of newborn stuff.

Aturn-what kind of schedule have you had your twins on? And what type of formula are you using?

Evyn - she will start spouting up and then you'll be like "slow down!!!"

Hstr - The girls sleep all night (from 7pm till 7/8am), then I feed them about every 2 hours (Target brand formula for Gentalese), they take a cat nap in the morning and a big 2 hr nap at noon, then another cat nap in the evening (cat naps will be 30 mins to 1 hr). I just let them get up when they want to, I do not wake my sleeping babies to feed or anything. How's it going with your twins?

So far I feel like it is going well. They eat about every 3hrs and nap most of the time...although they are starting to have more awake time these days. We dont really have a strict schedule but I try to keep them on the same schedule as much as possible...sometimes they eat a half hour apart though. But its not too big of a deal yet. This week is our last week of family help then I will be completely on my own (although we have a few friends who will help out a couple of hours once or twice a week) so then I think I will have to try to do a better job of keeping them on the same schedule.
Do you feed yours at the same time? I tried to feed them in their bouncy seats today but it didnt go so well. I would like to try to find a way to feed them at the same time if possible...I guess I will just have to try to keep working on it.

Tiara - I had no idea that you daughter was such a premie!!! Great that she is doing so well now!

hsutr - I feed the girls at the same time almost all the time. I use boopies to feed the girls. One on the floor in front of me, one in my lap. It's hard at first b/c they are sleeping alot, but at that time I would wake them up to keep them at the same time. Later like around, 2 months it got harder b/c they would sleep less and then all of the sudden they were one the same eating and napping schedule. It's great right now though, with them having a couple cat naps and a big nap in the afternoon. Just try your best to keep them on the same schedule!!!

Nothing to new hear. Can't wait to see how much the girls weight Wednesday. I have a MOPs meeting Thursday which is fun, and we have another Twin sale Sat to go to. I can not wait to see what kinda of toys and cute outfits we can find. I love those sales. They really have great buys, which comes in handly with twins on our budget!!!
