    Default Smoothies

I have noticed a lot of cysters drink fruit smoothies in the morning. How do I make these? Thanks!

    Hey There!!
They are so yummy. You can really make them any way you want. I usually mix frozen fruit, yogurt or protein powder, orange juice a few ice cubes. You can add honey and cinnamon as well.

    Hope this helps.

http://www.askdrsears.com/html/4/t041400.asp I've been wanting to try this one.

I usually buy huge amounts of bananas when they're on sale, peel, cut them in half and freeze them. Then you can throw them in the blender with whatever flavor yogurt you want, along with nutritional supplements like flax seed, protein powder, or whatever you want.

yes, i put banana in mine too. And any fruit you like/or have we like banana and cherries, sometimes in the summer i will put a tiny bit of vanilla ice cream in them. I usually use milk, but have tried it with apple juice too

I buy big bags of frozen mixed fruit. I put some in a blender with whole milk or cream and add in Splenda as necessary. Yogurt and bananas are good additions.

I usually just buy a wide variety of fruit and mix it together with fat free yogurt and maybe some organic juice. What I love about smoothies is that they are what you make them. There is no set way to make a smoothie, it all depends on what you are in the mood for. I think I'm in the mood for one right now actually...

    Default Yummy, yummy!

I love smoothies! I started my school year by making one each morning, then I got lazy and didn't do it anymore.

    1/2 banana
    1/2 cup yogurt
1 cup frozen fruit (like strawberries, raspberries, peaches)
    1 cup low-sugar orange juice

    Blend and drink! Yum!

I make fruit smoothies quite often and I just wanted to add that they are a great food to add some milled flax seed in order to get those omega 3's. Yum
