Hey guys, so how did the meeting go?
I was wondering if May, June, or July would be best to try to set up another get together/SC weekend outting.
SunnyInSeattle1 -- we will have to hold a cyster's retreat on the West coast at some point!!
I was really givng some thought to support groups and social support organizations for PCOS and I have not been able to find any. Is anyone familiar with any non-profits working in the area? I'm considering putting one together dealing with awarness, support, and things of that nature. Let me know.
Oh and we had snow in Alabama and Georgia! I got all warm inside because I felt like I was back home in Chicago for all of two seconds, then I was just cold as heck!
Hey Girls!
The meeting on Saturday went great. Planning another for March, just trying to decide on a location and date. If you're in the Atlanta area and you haven't already, join us on Meetup at www.meetup.com/atlantacysters
We've got several events coming up and would LOVE for you to join us.
@Jddiva: I am actually in the process of getting "Atlanta Cysters" off the ground. It is a support/social/awareness group for those with PCOS and also encourages husbands, fiances, friends, etc (basically anyone who provides support) to be active with the group as well. I have been in touch with several key folks in the Atlanta area and am excited about what's to come. I will certainly keep you posted!
Guess what ladies, I took six pregnancy test today (yes a bit OCD) and they all were BFP's!!!! Oh my Lord I almost had a heart attack. I will be going to the endocrinologist in the morning and hope to get confirmation (although six should be enough). I'm super excited but very, very scared at the same time. My DH seems pretty cool though. lol
Wow! Congratulations
