Default New to Met. & PCOS

    Hey Ladies,

I was dx with PCOS 2 wks ago with an ultrasound (strand of pearls), weight gain and facial hair. I have been taking met. every since. Even though I have PCOS I've not had irregular periods but instead they just been heavier than normal sometimes. Now after taking met. A/F is 6 days late and I'm wondering if this is the met. or maybe just a new side effect of PCOS or maybe just maybe I'm preg.

Anyone have similar side effects or have any suggestions?

My Dr. has told me to wait a couple weeks to see if I get A/F.

    Hi Hun,
I am new to this too... its very frustrating, so I feel your pain. I HATE the waiting game. The same thing is happening to me. My period this month came about 2 weeks late.... i started met last month. i thought i was preg but negative result... as always! stay positive, just focus on getting healthy for now...
