    Hi Ladies,

Most women on here have problems getting their AF. Well my problem is that I always have AF. I will go a couple days here and there with no period. But most of the time I am bleeding. I know that I don't ovulate. I will be starting DCI in September. But I just purchased the Femaprin and am hoping this will be a natural way to regulate my cycles, as I have never been regular.

Some of you had mentioned that your doctors had laughed at the fact that you are trying natural methods (herbs). This is because they are trying to make you think what you are doing is ridiculous. Why? They make money when they write prescriptions for you! If you don't need the prescriptions...they lose money.

I really dislike doctors for so many reasons, mostly because they just don't care. You really are just another number to so many of them. They want you in and out so they can go on to the next "patient." I know that there are the exceptions...but I have yet to find one.

I know you say don't like Dr's, but have you ever been checked out for the bleeding? It could be a sign of several things going on such as fibroids or polyps. I have PCOS and started to get my period 3 weeks on, a few days off. I was bleeding about 25 days of a month. I found out later when I was starting a fertility treatment that I had polyps on my uterus which were causing this problem. I had the polyps removed and the bleeding stopped.

I know its hard to not be cynical about Dr's, but I have been to many who do truly care. I have been to 3 ob/gyns and 4 reproductive endocronologists in my area. I figure the first meeting is like their "interview" and if I don't trust them then I move on. We are their customer and certainly have plenty others to choose from.

What do they do to remove the polyps? Is it a major surgery?

after reading this thread, i ordred a bottle of the femaprin. i also decided to start cinnamon for insulin resistance. i am hoping this helps. when i got pregnant with ds i was on met for three months then used femara to ovulate and was lucky. i hoping the femaprin will do the trick so i dont have to use the femara again. nothing against it, i jsut dont want to pay the specialist of i dont have too.

i ordred from vitacost.com. how quickly did yours come if you ordred from there. and i am looking at the red rasp leaves too. are they worth it. did they help as well? this thread is full of great info, i dont know why i havent looked here before. thanks!!

I've been taking Femaprin about as long as you and I have noticed the breakouts too. I really hope it's a good sign. I have also had a LOT of EWCM.

    Mschin - Congrats on AF!

I just received my Femaprin today and popped that pill as fast as i could. I'll be keeping track of it on FF, so i hope that will keep me in line to take it consistently.

Herbsgirl - I just want to thank you for all of your help in the Alternative remedies threads. You have done such a great job with research and keeping us informed and updated! I really appreciate it.

I am not new to the board. Just new as far as commenting, and, or leaving comments. I would first like to say hello to everyone. This pcos (soul cyster) board has been really helpful. I am 24 yrs old. was diagnosed with pcos at the age of 18. I knew at the time absolutely nothing about pcos. Started taking metformin. I cant handle it. It makes me sick. Have tried clomid.. Hot flashes, and or at least I thought... Decided to go natural. I have searched and searched for something that just might work. Ran across Femaprin. My little note with femaprin. After researching I decided to purchase after not having a cycle for a little over four months- Starting with Feb. 09. I purchased Femaprin received and started taking it on may 12, 2009. I initially started with one pill and about mid way through June I decided to double up after reading that some took two for a higher dose. I miscounted and ran out on July 2nd, and I had not received my second order of femaprin in the mail. So on July 3,4, and 5th I had to take natures way vitex. Which worked for the moment. In addition to femprin I took Dong Quai extract. July 5th a cycle started, the femaprin didnt take as long as I thought. I must say I am excited about a cycle. The average person no but, after going month after month after month without it, I now appreciate it. In addition to my little concoction I am adding DCI this month. Hopefully femaprin will continue to work for myself and everyone else.

I am also starting to notice acne. Fortunately, I don't usually have a problem with it.

So this might be tmi: has anyone noticed any difference in their sex drive? For quite a while now mine has completely disappeared. I have been noticing that it is definately picking up. I am guessing it is do to the the herbs I am taking. Maybe they are working!

MsChin - woo hoo! AF is on it's way! I am AF dancing for you. It's your story, that will prompt me to purchase Femaprin.

LWatts - Red Raspberry Tea is good, it helps LH phase, but so does the B6 in Femaprin. You could drink it during your TWW, or wait until you see what Femaprin does first.... But your regimen sounds good!

Thanks F4M ....If this works for me then all of you will know it REALLY does work!
I have not had my AF since last year! The regular Natures Way Vitex did not work after using it for almost 4months and this seems to be doing SOMETHING in the first month so I REALLY REALLY hope it brings a full AF!!!

    I am staying optimistic!!!

Hi ladies, just wanted to share my good news! I started Femaprin around the beginning of June and I got AF today! This is my first natural period in I-don't-how-how-long! In the 16 years since I started, I'm 99% sure I've had less than 5 spontaneous periods. I tried regular Vitex for a few months and didn't have any results, so I'm thrilled and pleasantly surprised that this has apparently worked. I'm attributing it to prayer, Femaprin, and more exercise, in that order! (Listing exercise last because I've only been regular about it the last 2 weeks since DH and I bought an elliptical.)

Thanks to everyone who's posted their positive results, convincing me to try Femaprin!

P.S. lwatts1, I got mine from Vitacost too, I ordered on a Fri morning and had it the following Mon! I paid like $.45 more to get USPS shipping instead of UPS.
