Talking Been to see an Endo at last!

I actually went privately in the end, because I get AF most months (though very irregular) my Gynae and GP wouldn't take my PCOS seriosly. So I went up to London yesterday and finally found someone who listened (okay so that's what I was paying him for but it did the trick!) He took some blood to check my Kidney Function and if that's all okay he;s sending me a prescription for Metformin!!! Hooray! I can't believe it! He's going to write to my GP and ask him to continue the treatment and monitoring me, which I know my GP will do cos he's shown alot of interest in using Metformin for PCOS.

I am so excited. I really hope this helps me - the Endo seemed to think I was perfect for it, but I suppose you can't tell until you've tried it. He also wants me to not TTC for a few months to get things more regular and to try and lose some weight. I don't mind too much - and I don't suppose DH will either as he broke his hand and finger on Wednesday playing football.
