    Default Ortho-Cyclen Drama...

    Hi everyone.

So I just started taking Ortho-cyclen. This is the first time in about 3 years i am on any bc and im just looking for some feedback on "symptoms" im having.

I am experiancing cramps all the time of varying degrees. sometimes not too bad sometimes like omg just shoot me... I feel like i need to pee all the time. Ive had some neausea. and (this is embarrasing and TMI) i kinda tinkled in my pants the other day and had no idea. Just didnt even know it happened till i went to the bathroom and saw a wet spot. i freaked, naturally, and had to change and wear a pad incase of a second occurance(which never happened)

I just dont know if any of this is normal, If its from the bcp or if i have a uti or bladder infection that im just accusing the bcp of causing the pia symptoms...

Any feed back would be great... Help me know if im crazy LOL.

    Thanks Ladies...

Default My first time on BCP

I'm not on ortho, I'm on YAZ, but I did have a similar problem after the first month on it. With my first period on BCPs it was SUPER heavy and very painful. When i told my endo about it. He said that since I have not been ovulating correctly the lining in my uterus may have been building up. when my body finally had a period it was shedding all the lining for the past few months and that may be the reason for all the pain. He said it should get better and my 2nd and 3rd period on the BCPs have been better than the first. I'm still waiting to see it things improve more.

Hope that helps. I say go back to your gyno/endo or doctor and tell them what is going on. They may switch you or maybe it is just normal but you still need some feedback.

    Hope you feel better!!

I took Orthro-tri-cylen LO and it did amazing things for my acne but it made me gain 15lbs in one monnth. I know it affects people differently. That's just the problem I had. I also have take Yaz and Orthro-everat (the patch) and I liked both of those.

I was told because I have pcos I should be on low dose. I read the paplet and your symptoms are normal for some people. Give it 3 months then ask to change to another brand.
