Geek - Fertility friend says my "normal" waking time is a lot earlier than it really is. I usually just ignore that and make notes when I really did get up at an odd time. This morning, for example, I woke up 2 1/2 hours early. I suppose if I adjusted the temp, it should be much higher.

I did have the tiniest bit of spotting this morning. I went ahead and noted it on my chart, but I'm not sure if I should have. It was barely there at all. If I wasn't paying such close attention, I never would have noticed it. It gave me a nice reality check though. I haven't completely given up hope, but it won't be a total shock if I get a BFN.

Christine, you should probably change the settings in fertility friend for next cycle (should you need it next cycle!)

I've been on clomid for the last 7 months. I know what you mean about side effects, I am really feeling it this month. I'm sooooo sick. I went to the hospital on Friday because I was having really severe abdominal pain, and the doc said it was from my ovaries stretching because at CD 9 I had 5+ follies in each ovary. Now I have headaches and nausea that won't go away and my temps are CRAZY high. I haven't been temping for long, my doc told me not to bother during AF and right after. But the last two days I've had very high temps, when I am usually down in the high 96s. It has been a really crazy cycle....

Rocky, I don't want to scare you... but watch for symptoms of OHSS (ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome)

I've been looking at that actually. Another SC member I talk with on the phone a lot caught on to most of my symptoms and had me check it out. I have most of them, but I was in the ER Friday and they didnt say anything about that. I have abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, chest pain, dark urine, and it mentions pain in the calves but I have had pain in my upper arms.

Jessica, your symptoms sound horrible, I am so sorry! I've heard half the girls say that clomid worked like a charm with little side effects, and then I've heard the nightmare stories like yours... Maybe give the soy a try, I dunno. If you are at 100 mg of clomid, maybe start with 160 or 200 mg of soy isoflavones. BTW, I friended you on myspace (altho I am a facebook girl now, hah) so if you get a message from some weirdo, it's me. Our bridesmaid dresses are practically identical.

Call your doc and ask her for a script for Provera (progesterone). I take it all the time. You take it for 1 week, and then in about 3-10 days, AF comes. Easy peasy.

ryland, ditto on what ckcahn said. Sometimes they make you wait until cd40 but you are well past that. They shouldnt have a problem giving you provera.

Ryland - I agree... call and ask for Provera.. you take it 10 days and 4 to 10 days later you should see AF... some people even get it before they finish their 10th pill of Provera.

I had my doctor's appointment today. He said I have a twisted ovary. (Never heard of it before) He also said he isnt worried about the quality of my CM and to stop my antibiotic even though the ER doctor found that my CM had a bad pH. He moved my appointment for my HCG shot to this Saturday instead of Thursday, which will probably put my IUI on Sunday.
