intolerance to ingredients in meds (flutamide)

Hi,

I have an endocrinologist appt. coming up and I want to try to convince him to give me flutamide for my hirsutism and hair loss. But the major brand of flutamide (Eulexin) contains lactose, and I can't tolerate even tiny amounts of lactose. Does anyone know if there would be any way for me to get this drug without the lactose? Can it be made for me without it, or is there a generic version that wouldn't have it?

I don't know about this particular medication, but my mom gets a lot of her meds compounded at a compound pharmacy for this reason.
