New & need some advise
I'm 23yrs old & I was just recently diagnosed with PCOS & hypothyroidism. My doc wants me to loss weight but it feels even with doing a 45min workout (cardio & weights) it doesn't help and I feel like I just gain weight. A few yrs ago I lost 16lbs in 3months doing a school project were I did water aerobics & I am signing up again this wkend at the YMCA but I still feel like for my future I need to do something for a few reasons. 1) alot of the reprocussions (arthritis, diabetes, osteoporosis) from this already run in my family and it just increases my chances for my future. 2) i'm so tired of being over weight. However my doc wants me to do it the old fashion way of exercise & diet. So I started a diet journal thingy and I'm signing up this wkend for the YMCA but I have 130+ lbs to loss. I see my doctor in August and was thinking of just asking to be a candidate for the lab band, I did my research and that fits my life alot better then GB, but I'm not sure if I'm just rushing into it. I have done every diet out there, do about 45-1hr of exercise a day and I feel like I'm going no where but up in my weight. I'm so frustrated & just want to cry all the time at this point.
Any suggestions?
