    Default Newbie

Hello Laides! I am new here! I have been looking over the boards for the past couple months....Thank you to all of you who have asked questions I have needed answered myself!

I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 18 years old when I got my first AF. I was prescribed BC to help with all the symptoms until I was ready to Conceive. In January of this year (2009) I got married to my DH. He has been very supportive and understanding to the PCOS, but still doesn't understand as much as all you do! I am definetly looking for people who can relate to me. My aunt was diagnosed with PCOS as well and has 3 Beautiful children so I know there is hope :o)

Here is my history of TTC :
I have been off BC since January 2008.....cycled 3 times the whole year.
    **February 2009~
Meet with OBGYN to re diagnose PCOS and make treatment plan. Started Meformin 1700mg/day right away.
    **March 2009~
Natural AF, Metformin, Clomid 50mg CD3-7, BBT up and down...anovulatory!
    **April~
Natural AF, Metformin, clomid 100mg CD3-7, BBT same..anovulatory
    **May 2009~
Angry with OBGYN....not monitoring anything. Meet with RE for counsiltation...why not go with the best right???
Natural AF, Metformin, clomid 150mg CD5-9, BW and U/S...Nothing...just a real thin lining :o( Body not reacting to Clomid..on to injectables woohoo!!!
    **June/July~
Provera, Metformin, Follistim Pen 75iu CD4-11 monitored every couple days...Estrogen levels still low...lining increasing thats about it. upped dose 150iu CD 12-16 monitered every 2 days. Estrogen doubling and lining thickening. CD 16 1 follie 10mm right ovary. Continue 150iu CD16-18.
CD18... 19 Follies...ranging 10mm-14mm. One leading follie at 15mm....Now we must be careful! Getting very excited!
Next Apointment CD 19 U/S, BW and hopefully Ovidrel Hcg Trigger shot....**FINGERS CROSSED** then BD and progesterone Sups!

Hi again sillyliltickles. My husband and I are hoping to conceive within the next year or two as well. We have a long road ahead of us because not only do I have PCOS, but he had a vasectomy in the past, so we're trying to figure out what our options are. I wish you and your hubbie the best in getting pregnant!!

Fortunately we both have pretty decent coverage so I think that will definitely help us. And thanks!!
