Clomid Side Effects

i just finished my last dose of clomid last night. i never had any side effects!!! i hope it is still working. i guess only time will tell. good luck

I have finished my first round of five pills of clomid sunday now I am just waiting to see if I ovulate. so far I've had mood swings and hot flashes and at times my ovaries kinda ache. I have also had head aches. Sometimes also I feel as though my period is trying to start. When I started using Clomid by day two my period had completely stopped so I am thinking it may reappear. Last night I had twinges of light pain in my breast. It's a guessing game but according to my charts and calendar I should ovulate the 26th or so. Just a question for you ladies who have taken clomid. If you had side effects from it, when did they occur, and what were they? I didn't have any s/e from clomid, but I started getting side effects about 3dpo that mimic both early pregnancy and clomid. It's been 18 days since my last pill...didn't know if what I was experiencing was just clomid, pregnancy, or even both. TIA!

I started to get some bloating and cramping around ovulation-ish. That was the extent of my SE this cycle.

Those of you that had hot flashes (or even if you didn't), does Clomid raise your BBT?

Well my first month of clomid on 50 mg i experienced bad hot flashes, nausea, mood swings and they didn't start till after i ovulated. This month i'm now on 100 mg of clomid and finished it this monday and two days after being off the meds i'm now experiencing nausea and upset stomach. Thought it was kind of early to feel side effects but not sure.

I've had no side effects, but have only been on 50mg. I start 100mg next cycle. I haven't managed to ovulate yet, so I'm almost hoping for side effects to indicate it might actually work for once!

I'm on Day 4 of 50mg and I have a raging headache. I can't be certain that it can be attributed to the Clomid though, as I have slight TMJ so my right jaw is hurting right now, and that's the side of my head that is pounding, so the two may be related. I've had one hot flash - I can now sympathize with all of the 53-58 year old women I work with.

Well went to the doctors on Saturday and they did an ultrasound and found that my egg sizes were only 11-12 and they need to be in the 20's. So my specialist told me to start taking 150 MG this week. I'm on my last pill today and will find out on monday if my eggs are maturing. I had some side effects from the clomid 100mg and nothing, and now i'm having more side effects like acne now on 150mg, don't know if it is the meds or not. I'm really hoping this works, because for my size he said that is the highest he will put me on. So then i have to try something else.

I am on 150mg a night atm I get hot flashes and emotional highs and lows. and tomorrow is my last dose so day 4 of 5

My temper gets really quick and at times irrational. Makes being a manager at work really hard sometimes when ya just want to snap at people for being stupid o.o *sigh* Hopefully my insurance will let my dr switch to the other medicine he mentioned at my last appointment. Apparently we have to go through insurance red tape to get it approved. Now only if I could remember the name of it.

(edit) It's Letrozole that he wants to switch me to for less side effects. But my insurence (Aetna) is giving us a hard time over it.

I took 100 mg and had fatigue, but no other symptoms. Our bodies are sooo different!

It's good to hear others are having hot flashes, I'm on CD14 (took Clomid 50mg CD3-7) and yesterday had crazy hot flashes all day long (I've never had them before, it was crazy!!!) ... the other s/e I've had is an acne like rash on my upper chest, neck and jawline -- is this normal??? That showed up 2 days ago which I thought was weird since my last Clomid was taken on the 7th (a week ago!) ...

I'm starting Clomid in a couple of weeks. I'm just curious what did some of you do or take to help the hot flashes? Is there anything you can do to make them stop? I really want to go on Clomid but I'm really dreading the hot flashes while I'm at work!
